@@miltontavares9506 "Brosnan helped revive the franchise with Goldeneye": you are absolutely right but let's not forget that, with the exception of the legendary masterpiece Goldeneye, the other three films with Brosnan are terrible. Brosnan was perfect as James Bond but had the misfortune to star in 3 of the worst 007 movies ever. At the turn of the millennium the saga was dying, it seemed to have reached a mortal point of no return. Then Craig came along, Martin Campbell came back to directing and everything changed. What I mean is that the Brosnan period was not a good period, apart from Goldeneye, a legendary masterpiece. Dalton's period marked a decline in the saga's popular and fashionable strength, but the films with Dalton were good films (personal opinion: License to Kill is a great film, hugely underrated). Brosnan, on the other hand, despite being a perfect James Bond, starred in 1 masterpiece and 3 horrific films that seemed to have put the tombstone on the saga. Thank God the story changed with Craig and Campbell: they were the ones who saved the saga
