@@OfficialJuarez yes they can, really any lizard can recognize people or actions if they are shown it enough, my bearded dragon has gotten used to walking towards his door once I open and tap on it two or three times since I feed him right after, he associates it with food and comes right up lol but I'm sure they also forget things like we do so to get them used to it would need to be a daily brain workout for them or they'll forget, like we do with muscle or solving math, need to be use it or we'll lose it

You missed deploying camouflage. When he spots it, he sways from side to side as a distraction. He’s mimicking a leaf blowing in the wind to fool his prey.

@@HOLY_FRIJOLES It's actually their vision in order to see things clearly. Snakes and lizards alike move from side to side to see their surroundings more clearly. It's where they got it from in Jurassic Park although generally larger reptiles do not need to do this.

Chameleons are so cool. The eyes, the hands(?), the way they move, everything just screams “awesome!” A chameleon is too high maintenance for my life right now, but if I’m ever at the point where I can properly take care of a chameleon, I will jump at the opportunity to do so.

They actually have if you look closely. They are really smal and a little bit hard to see. At first i didn't notice either but when you look at adults you can see it better. Once i held a chameleon and they also have claws and they are pretty damn strong.
