Great video! Your trees and especially their trunks are so impressive. I wish i had room to grow prebonsai in the ground.
@SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke6 жыл бұрын
Thanks vil. Sure is a great way to grow them. If you can try to buy trunks off of people that have grown or collected bigger trunks. Develop the branching in you pot. 😁😁. Some of mine I have bought as trunks for 30 bucks. Cheers for the watch and comment mate.

Yeah, I also use woodworking bits, small carbide bits for dremel and bits for CNC to make fine details.
@SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke6 жыл бұрын
Hi mate. Yeah they do the job at a fraction of the price. Cheers for the watch and comment mate 😁😁. Have fun carving 😁

Awesome tree Sam. I find a drill pretty useful too. Thought you might have got the circular saw out for "and if you need to get rid of lots of wood in a real hurry" lol. Keep up the great work mate! Dan.

No worries mate. Not much rain here in Mildura over winter. Some trees budded very early. Did you have this happen?
@SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke6 жыл бұрын
Yeh no rain to speak of where I am. Elms, ashes and oaks are all starting to wake up. Great time of year 😁

How long does it take for stems to set after wiring? After secondary thickening occurs I image.
@SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke6 жыл бұрын
Hi mate. Yeh just when the wire looks to be marking the branches. A little bit of marking is good as it means the branch has put on enough growth to hold its position 😁. Cheers for the watch and comment 😁

Sam Doecke, Aussie bonsai bloke makes sense. I wired up a callistemon I purchased as tube stock last year. Now just have to maintain and wait a couple decades 😂 Thanks for the reply.enjoy your weekend. 👍
