I started budgeting properly in May 2022 and its literally changed my life! I do it all digitally using a spreadsheet and my Hyperjar account where have loads of jars for different sinking funds. Love your videos!

I started my budget journey in jan 2022 after not having any savings or money. I did research on youtube about saving money, and I got mostly American budgeter. I kept following them until I got ur video, budget with ira, and she's on a budget. Today, I am better, and I am still growing.

Yep I cash stuffed for Christmas for the first time last year and no financial stresses this January! Edit- I should say no stresses from overspending in December

Do you have an emergency fund? You’ve probably said but I can’t remember. I started cash stuffing last year, but not for Christmas; for literally decades now I’ve always transferred money automatically into a separate account for Christmas. So essentially I’ve done an electronic version of cash stuffing for Christmas for ages. However, I started cash stuffing for a number of personal categories that were popping up and stressing me a bit throughout the year. It’s worked well! I love it….. it’s helped me, and I’ve even managed to pay extra off my mortgage. 👍🏻

Congrats on finishing a challenge. I think I have too many challenges going at one time, so I’m going to stop doing some of them so I can finish a challenge. I can always start them up again. I totally understand about getting somebody in to fix stuff, I’ve been a widow for almost 10 years and have learned that some people are not honest and take advantage. Stay strong you are doing a fabulous job. Great video.
