Agree with you the whole child benefit set up is a joke! It’s very unfair on single parents or a couple where one works and the other doesn’t but doesn’t qualify for it as they are just over threshold 🤪 drives me up the wall x

@@DreamClean I live in Australia and our mortgage requires us to be insured for a set value. It’s an expensive house so comes with expensive bills I guess 😬

I think you mean child benefit. Uc is tight to get average family of 4 on 49k wouldn't be entitled my friends hubby earns 33k and she gets 0 She has 2 kiddies and she's a carer she gets a nil award xxx

Oh yeah I meant child benefit - did I say universal credit? 😂😂 whoops. I’ve applied for that but 9 weeks in and I’m waiting for an answer, I don’t need it now but did a few months ago 😂 xx
