Yes I recommended The Traveling Cat Chronicles. I loved it! I want to read a Thousand Splendid Sons. I really enjoyed The Kite Runner. Great book buys🤗

Wonderful haul! Thank you for sharing! 🎉 you’ve reminded about a couple of things: 1-I need to resume the Three Pines series. I’m in the mood for a well written mystery right now. And also I had forgotten about the Thursday Next series. My mom loved those books and I enjoyed a couple way back when. I should do a re-read from the series start. I have A Thousand Splendid Suns on my shelf to read as well. I've heard it's excellent! I'm also starting The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks tomorrow (as audio). :) I love your Penguin Clothbound Classics that you picked as well as the beautiful ones on your shelf. They look so pretty lined up together. Great haul and hope you enjoy each one! :)

I’ve heard of several of the books you hauled but haven’t read most. I’ve heard good things so I hope you enjoy reading them. If you like War of the Worlds, you might also like Day of the Triffids. Wide Sargasso Sea tells the story of Bertha from Jane Eyre. I love the edition of Animal Farm. Take care and happy reading 😊

Under a Flaming Sky is a really interesting book! The Hinckley Fire was a horrible event and it was fascinating to learn more about it.
