I've just finished this book too... yes it IS a difficult read. And it took me a while to decide exactly what I think of it. You have to decide for yourself why the perpetrator commited the abuse that he did. And also.... why the victim allowed it to happen. Anf the answers you may arrive at may make you very uncomfortable indeed...
