I finally did a BOOKSHELF TOUR!!! This has been my most requested video. I was hesitant because mentioning SO MANY BOOKS is quite the task! O_O But I stopped being lazy and did it!
Do you have any of the same editions I have? Or maybe I reminded you of a long lost series you'd forgotten about? OR do you have any suggestions to books I should add to my shelves? Let me know in the comments! :)

I'm glad to see that someone as youthful as you are, is reading and collecting cool fantasy novels. I've been reading and collecting since the mid 70s and back then, fantasy, though popular, wasn't nearly as available as it is now. Carry on, young one, this channel is awesome!

I love really long videos like these! - That Poe book looks awesome I really wanna get a collection of Poe i just haven't figured out which edition i want - David Tennant was my fave doctor! my best frienf got me a pop of him as the tenth doctor with his 3D glasses hahaha it's super cute. - That vanishing TARDIS mug looks so cool!

suggestions: 1. the star wars "Thrawn" trilogy by Timothy Zahn 2. the comic series Cerebus by Dave Sim, at least some of which is available free on tumblr (or was, last time i checked) 3. new shelves, a bigger room (or one that's bigger on the inside), all the money in the world...and lots more good reading!

Yes Bertie Botts are always an adventure to try!! the Uk edition of the Mistborn series is stunning, and I am adding those to my wish list ;P also, what do you think of the lunar chronicles series, and have you finished it?

Ok your shelves are the awesome some of those special edition hardbacks are stunning (the Charles dickens one!!!) And your merch collections are 10/10. Just started watching doctor who this month- a few eps into Tennant but love him already :D

Really cool to see some Charlie Bone books, I read those as a kid and very much want to collect them now. Also neat to see the Mystery of Edwin Drood! Doesn't get enough recognition in my opinion.

Yess, I really enjoyed the Charlie Bone books as a kid as well! I actually haven't read Mystery of Edwin Drood yet,but I love Dickens so I'm sure I'll enjoy it!

And now, may I present, commentary by yours truly: -Okay but dat pocket watch though daaamn -"no I'm not trying to hypnotize you" lolol -That charles dickens book is beautiful, i could stare at it all day. same with the princess bride, oh mY STARS -Your announcer voice is everything in this video -DAVID TENNANT WAS THE BEST DOCTOR YES YES YES JAY I KNEW YOU WERE A GOOD EGG -that remote control walle aww -"yes i did eat one of the packages.......that was an adventure" HAHAH -I have that same mockingjay pin!! -your soft "whoa" after that insanely long author's name on the poetry shelf was everything -SERIOUSLY my black shelves get so dusty so quickly it's unreal!! -Also having done a bookshelf tour myself, I know how incredibly long it takes to film so major props to you and also the way you went about it was seriously hecking nice to watch Great video Jay :)

If you liked Dragonlance and you're looking for more sci-fi to break into, Margaret Weis wrote a series of 4 sci-fi: The Star of the Guardians. I'm not sure if it's still in print or not though. They are fun and entertaining though.

I just got the oathbringer by brandon sanderson from target because the fanart was amzing ( i haven't even read the series lol) im going to order the UK editions tho. i can't remember if you've read any of SJM books, but did you like any of them? All my childhood books omg ALL THE MANGA!! THIS WAS REALLY GREAT, THANKS JAY :D

LOOL I use a Canon Rebel (cuz Imma rebel) T6i, with a Ef 50mm lens. The key is setting the aperture to 1.5 for the nice background blur! ;) And I use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit. YESSSS, I do play computer games! ALL THE KINDS. RPG, FPS, MMO, EEVRYTHING. TOTORO

Have you read The Vagrant or Ancillary Justice? both have been sitting on my shelf for a while and have fallen down my TBR because of new additions to ongoing Series, I dont need a review or anything, just if they may be worth my time...they seemed interesting enough when i bought them =)

Somehow I have the feeling you are missing the necessary Pokemon stuff :P... I mean: How dare you have a chikorita? How? haha Wish I could afford me a good set of eeveelutions, they fit every mood and what isn't probably will come some time. Funny thing is: my book shelves are the only visible thing in my house that is organised. Cleaning and reorganizing is so relaxing and I appreciated you speeding up a bit, I agree with you on bookshelf tours getting longwinded quickly. Now the commentary on the books: Why the heck do we even keep books on our shelves when we didn't like them (or even hate them)? And wow, all those long series.. :O

I KNOWW haha I'm missing all the good Pokemon figures XD I have an Eevee figure somewhere, but yeah it would be awesome to have a full eeveelution set. Agreed, it's really relaxing organising book shelves Hahaha and I guess I keep books that I dislike on my shelf still so that I can show them in videos, I haven't found a replacement book to put on my shelf, and it just feels like such a waste of money. Eventually though I'm going to giveaway a bunch of my books to a local used bookstore. ALSO, in case there is a SMALL chance I might give them a second chance. (No Caraval, this doesn't involve you. You will NEVER get a second chance).

I have to get some of these. My collection makes yours look kinda small already though (about 1200 books). I may have a slight book addiction. Some recommendations for you: The Temeraire series by Naomi Novic The Memoirs of Lady Trent by Marie Brennan The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher The Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne The Black Company by Glen Cook Kings of the Wylde by Nicholas Eames Half Price Books is a pretty good place to get books cheap.

Are there any of the Star Wars books that are particularly good? I've always thought they were like glorified fan fiction. But maybe I am missing out on something worthwhile? (There are just SO MANY that it's overwhelming to even know where to begin!) Also WALL-E! I have a large plushy and a smaller one. I love him so much.

Yeah I see where you're coming from, there is quite a few that feel like fan-fiction. I feel like there definitely is some fantastic ones in there as well, and are worth reading if you love the Star Wars universe. Darth Plagueis, the Old Republic books, New Dawn, Darth Bane Trilogy, The Thrawn Trilogy, and Vector Prime are all really great :)
