Hey all, I know this is a long video so I have put timestamps in my description box so you can jump around to the specific shelves you want and skip the bits you don't care so much about (I won't mind! 😂) . This was also uploaded and scheduled prior to J.K Rowling making more damaging statements online about transgender people and non-binary identities. I'm conscious that my comments regarding my annoyance with her in this video are fairly mild and not detailed to the situation as it stands, but I want to be clear that I find her further spreading of misinformation and transphobic fear-mongering under the pretence of "feminism" to be abhorrent. Trans women are women, trans men are men. Small as my platform may be, I want to direct some positivity and support to the trans community however I can, so I have linked in my description box a list of transgender charities and organisations to support and donate to.

Wow! What a thorough book tour! I love seeing someone own Herodotus lol, and Tom Holland is a great historian.

Haha, thank you! I'm incredibly nosy when I see other people's bookcases so I thought book by book was the best option. Might not be the ideal option later down the line but for now, I enjoy it! What collection is complete without Herodotus?! 😂It's one I actually want to dip back into at some point, I mainly studied Books 6-8 at school but in a different translation, so that is more prominent in my mind when I think of The Histories.

I love your editions of A Room with a View and Howard's End! Lovely tour :) Also big fan of the Jaqueline Wilson books, I'm determined to keep my collection of them forever haha

you have a Fernando Pessoa book? He's one of my favorite Portuguese poets, your book-shelve is awesome, very original, thank you for showing us more then the usual repetitive collections (Harry Potter, hunger games, etc, etc,etc).

Ohh I've been collecting the Carol Ann Duffy Christmas poetry books too! They're just so adorable. I love your bookshelves and collection! I don't think I've ever seen those Faber Poets of the Great War collection and now I need them lol. And yasss, Queen Sansa Stark! My fave character from that series :D Same sentiments about Harry Potter and the author who shall not be named lol

Thank you! I'm quite sad there won't be any more Carol Ann Duffy Christmas poems now she isn't Poet Laureate, to be honest. They were a nice Christmas tradition!

Oh my days, I completely see why you that said why this took you so long! May I ask... how long was JUST the raw footage?

RIGHT?! Haha, I did it all in parts and uploaded each edit from my phone to my laptop, shelf by shelf, so I have no idea what it was altogether! But it was at least 10 minutes per shelf when unedited. It took a WHILE!

Oh wow 😍 I've just stumbled upon your channel and think we must have a very similar taste in books as I was also a big Jacqueline Wilson fan growing up and you have about 90% of the adult novels on my bookshelves! Also did you go to uni of York? I did too 😂

Have you read Going Solo by Dahl? Also loved the way you filmed this. It's nice having the separate areas. I have mine roughly alphabetised but have a shelf for my tbr.

Thank you! You know what, I have a feeling that young Charlotte didn't read Going Solo, I definitely had an old copy of it on my shelf as a child and pulled it down to look at it but I can't remember actually reading it! 😂

I MIGHT have a book hoarding problem... But I used to have to get rid of books all the time when I was younger, so that's probably why I don't like to get rid of them now. Over compensating! 😂
