However, Boosie was not here for the appearance of the men on the red carpet. On Monday, he took to his 1.2 million Twitter followers to express his opinion on the major event. Using his traditional capital letter sentences, began his short spree of tweets by stating “MET GALA WTF UGHH.” He also took the time to highlight the women on the carpet. “I THINK THE MET GALA SHOULD BE FOR WOMEN ONLY !! LET THE WOMEN SHINE,” he said.
The Met Gala Is an annual fundraising event that raises money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute located in New York City.
