I would move the Overdrive and fog lamps switch below the shifter knob and put the Holley terminator screen in their current spot.

For a brake upgrade you can use 3500 calipers and pads. Thats what I've done to mine

For your buzzer annoyance lol The fuse box on the drivers side when you open the door. It is the large black box that is furthest to the front of the truck, unplug it like you would a fuse. I just pull it and leave it in place or completely remove ur choice hope it helps sweet build btw

Yeah I saw the black box but they make it so you need to pop a couple screws out the fuse box to actually remove it. Also wasn’t sure if it closes any circuits or anything so haven’t messed with it yet but probably will soon!

Personal opinion: I would have put the screen above the selector just so you can see it while shifting. But overall it’s looking sweet!

Yea the screen above is more sleek and you won’t have to take your eyes off the road as much. And the trucks typically have it lower on the console

The curve at the top of the bezel matched the curve of the PRND perfectly. If I had of put the Holley up top it would have been trying to match a curve with a square box with limited space to drop it down

Doesn’t look good at the top cause the top of the bezel is rounded so it would cut off part of the screen. Better on the bottom it’s a perfect fit 💪

Those gears backlash are kind of tricky on my experience… I had to replaced two times on 98 ram , both times low fluid ( truck owned before),third time I give up and ended replacing the whole differential lol 🤦🏽 👊🏼🤣

Yeah hoping I can get a nice pattern on this set cause sometimes there’s not much you can do the way the gears are cut. Also I wasn’t super impressed by the pattern it was running in the drum brake axle so we’ll see how good I can get it in the new axle 💪

Morning John, please do a video whenever you figure out what that buzzing is because I have a similar issue going on as as (ding, ding...) pulled out #14 fuse so it stops when the key is out, doors shut, and obviously no lights on. However it continues are started and driving, hoping that the problem that you are experiencing sheads light on to this trip down the rabbit hole I'm in.

I'm in LOVE with this swap. I'm curious if I'd be able to pick your brain on swapping a 6.4 hemi into my 2004 ram. It has the PCI bus system and not the CAN bus is the main problem I'm running into.

One it's cheaper tow it helps local people and three you find more things you can use,... plus it's fun and relaxing at the same time hard to explain 👍✌️

It’s off to the side so should be ok. I don’t have the seats in so it’s hard to get a visual on it while sitting on the floor but it’s far enough away I think we’ll be able to see it no problem

Ur a wiz man! I wish I had thought about abs plastic. I used plexiglass & paint for my project and it looks pretty bad 😂 I'm for the touch screen. Last, you can build ur own adjustment tool at home depot on the cheap using pipe fittings. Think mine cost like around 15 bucks. It's not perfect but not bad for a tool that will rarely be used

Hello I have some food for thought for you. Maybe you have considered this Idea. For the swaps the you have done. Selling a conversion kits as a set for what you doing. Simplifying thins for others the add some swag for your advertisement, and working out a deal with suppliers to advertise with you in the kits. Then giving you a discount on their gear? I see you have a lot going on but job security. Nice video's take care. Mike T

Amazing ! First the 4th gen now this. It’s coming along really well. Question tho. Do you think you could make like a custom fitting for the shifting and the screen with 3D printing ? Maybe to make it look factory as possible . Not sure if it will be a good idea . Other than that she is coming along.
