On our second Audi review, we flew to Kansas City to experience one of the fastest cars in the U.S.A, a BoostLogic Twin-Turbo Gen II R8 that was making around 1,100 HP this day due to cold temps. It was absolutely thrilling and we sure hope you enjoy this car as much as we did.
This Solar Orange Gen II R8 was one of the best-looking exotic cars we have ever seen. The Gen II Audi R8 is aging so well, and with the added touches Jeff added to this car looks absolutely fire in person. I also have to state that Solar Orange which Audi made I believe only in 2018 is one of the best colors ever for the R8. It has no metallic flake, with a nice gloss sheen, absolutely awesome.
Now we were fortunate that Jeff the owner came on camera and did a fantastic job highlighting the details for us. He also knows the car and kept us safe doing some pulls. This Audi R8 is running ethanol and features a Boost Logic Twin-Turbo kit included a fully rebuilt transmission with Dodson billet gears and more. Just watch I feel that Jeff did a solid idea explaining the car.
While I would want to maintain my R8 for track use, the way this Audi R8 is now built for one thing, speed! Just watch Jeff hit the anti-lag button programmed into the Motec ECU and god does this Audi R8 move. With zero lag, all the torque comes on instantly from that function and I've never experienced anything this fast in a car.
