Boris Johnson was treated to a hero's welcome by his new MPs this afternoon as he hailed the new Parliament as "one of the best" ever produced.
Cheers and applause rang around the chamber as the PM strode through the Commons for the first time since the election.
Addressing the new Speaker Lindsay Hoyle, Boris said: "I don’t know what you think but I mean absolutely no disrespect to those who are no longer with us - but I think this parliament is a vast improvement on its predecessor."
He added: "Because this parliament is not going to waste the time of the nation in deadlock, and division and delay.
"We are going to get Brexit done and even your parrot Mr Speaker would have been able to cite that one by now."
Following the PM, a stony-faced Jeremy Corbyn paid tribute to the MPs that had lost their seats due to his calamitous campaign.

@@adcolt54 Brexit happened because of three factors. 1. A referendum that was framed as binding. 2. In which 37,4% of the electorate stated their explicit desire to leave and 34,7% of it stated their explicit desire to remain. (Note how 37,4% isn't a majority) 3. FPTP leading to a Tory victory in 2019. Pro-Brexit parties combined add up to less than 50% of the popular vote. In fact, 2,8 million Brits did vote leave on the referendum but didn't vote for a pro-Brexit party in 2019. As such the minority can force Brexit on the majority despite most people in the nation not wanting it. FPTP is a terrible system. It pretends to protect rural areas from urban areas but in reality it simply discards people's votes if their candidate isn't the first past the post. The principle of democracy begins when we say that all citizens are equal. But how can you call them equal when their votes don't even count equally? And before you call "remainer tears", I really don't care about Brexit, like most of the world. It's simply that it clearly shows the flaws in the UK's governmental system, and it makes me appreciate that my nation operates under PR.

The same is true with universities, trying to recruit more women into intellectual positions (as opposed to more traditional gender roles.). Noah Hughes but I feel like that’s actually showing and communicating that women need special treatment to take up these roles. Women can do what they want to do, and where they aren’t able to, based on their gender, that’s where the problem is. The fact that women in general lean towards certain roles, in my opinion, is not awful, but if we want to let them know they can do anything, as if they aren’t already having that message drilled into them by every type of media possible, fine, but employing women based on the fact they’re women seems like backwards thinking.

And a majority of Labour party members voted Remain, so it's even more democratic for him to support Remain. He knows that the party he was the leader of has been soundly beaten at the election due to the choices he made, but he also knows that his choices matches the opinions of the majority of Labour's MPs and the Labour party membership. The general population can laugh at him and current and former Labour voters can complain about his choices, but the MPs and party members mostly can't because it was their delusions that he was channeling leading up to the election.

Talent and ability? It's the only job where you only need to be a sycophant to be selected. Much like management nowadays. And the pay is far more than many have ever had. None of them qualify for being an MP. There's no test of knowledge. Nothing but selection gets them the chance to serve. If they had to actually pass tests to be in a cabinet relating to their posts few would ever make it. The Whitehall mandarins run the show. Those who actually have to qualify and pass actual exams to get their positions. It's not a bad idea to introduce a test of talent and ability, but would even the Conservatives, efficient at business, aka lining ones pockets handsomely whilst paying as little out to their workforce as possible, pass such tests.

He could have just added more laws to make the current ones we have already better. But he doesn't want you to be safe. He wants control over the working class. Did you hear that he made it ILLEGAL for public railway workers to go on strike? If you didn't, you should have. What we was warned about by Labour has already started to happen. He also wants to privatize the BBC to make money off of it and control all the opinions and news being put forward to the public. He disguises this by saying his decriminalizing None payed TV licences, but what he is actually doing is privatizing the BBC to have full control over it. This the signs of a growing dictatorship. Boris is the perfect Social Elite leader. He acts like a harmless clown to please the public like a political smokescreen while his MP's take everything from us behind him.
