Thank you so much for this video. I was just getting ready to replace the cord on my well loved and used Bosch jigsaw and this really helped. Now I just have to remember to put it back inside the case so the dog won't mistake the cord for a chew toy again!

Hey Don, I'm trying to pull the top on a Bosch os50vc sander. It got caught in a fire and got some parts damage. The pad base, the 4 vib bumpers got turned to mush. I want to disassemble it, clean and reassemble and I got as far as the base pad plate, and the top of the top grip. All the screws are torx cept I think the front handle is allen bolt? Anyway, maybe u can do a video on that or give me a link, anything would be great. Thanks.

So if I have a Bosch hammer drill without a ground and I need to use it with a gfi box can I simply change the cord to a 3 prong? What would the ground attach to , is there a place already built in for it?

Thanks for making this video. I need to replace a power cord for a Skilsaw SPT70 table saw and I assume the process is similar - correct? You didn't choose to put electric tape around the wires to insulate them a bit? Is that overkill?

I ordered some parts from you but in the meantime can you show where the Motor wires from the switch get connected on the back of the jigsaw near the armature. Mine fell off and I cant find the contact point ? Thank you Glen
