So for the past year, the Bose Smart Soundbar 300 has been my go to soundbar and favorite soundbar to recommend. I really feel that you can’t go wrong with the Bose Smart Soundbar 300. But now, we have the Bose Smart Soundbar 600, which is the 300’s successor. Now, the 600 has a new speaker set up and it now has dolby atoms support. So toady we’re going to see the performance improvements from the 300 to the 600, and if you already have the 300, should you upgrade.

I like the sound coming at me from the 300 rather than spacey sound like the 600 As you get older, he will notice that forward firing speakers sound better than angled and up firing. Just saying.

The 600 sounds less direct, thus more immersive. The bass is also very tremendous! I love the 600! I have both of them myself.

I listened to Bose 600 multiple times in store with variety of contents. it sounds very thin compared to bose 300 or 700 or 900. May be because of plasing only the tweeter in the centre and taking the speaker around it to the top. it may help to instrument separation but quality of vocal hamper. I still prefer sound signature of bose 300 unfortunately. wish they have added a full range driver in the middle and 2 tweeter firing up.

Absolutely correct. Vocals sound a lot better with Bose 300. With 600 it sounds shallow and dispersed. That's why I went with 300 for my desktop. Its a perfect desktop speaker.

Thank you for this comparison. I personally bought a soundbar 700 one month ago because the price was very interesting in the shop I went to. Is there a solid reason for me to move to the 600 because of its Dolby atmos? Thank you.

Is it just me or the 300 sounds better with vocals? Vocals sound forward and fuller with 300, whereas with 600 its more open and shallower. Just some tiny difference.

Hi! I do have a Bose 600 with bass module 500. Comparing with Bose 900 alone, the paired Bose 600 and bass 500 is much better setup especially during playing music and watching action movies. If you do have a very large living room, Bose 900 is the better option. Large and medium room is more than enough for Bose 600 with base module 500.

For a small room, 600 bar is good enough. No need for subwoofer unless you are quite keen on very high bass.

From what I hear 300 will give you more prominent vocals not sure about the clarity the 600 will sound more immersive from what I hear I would go for the 600 hands down

How would you compare the Bose 600 vs the JBL Multibeam? Worth the upgrade?

If it helps, I can tell you my experience with the multibeam, it has almost no treble, since it only has mid range speakers and no tweeters, the base overcomes the dialogs and mid range sounds, if it had a tweeter it would be the perfect soundbar, but it doesn't, I ended up returning it and also one of te speakers ended up failing after 1 day of use, I'll invest a bit more and get the bose 600, or even the 300 should be better than the multibeam

I had Bose Soundbar 600 first, but I did not like it after a week use. I returned it and bought 900 and I feel 900 is a better option especially if your room is medium or higher

@@zureaisound is personal ok! The 600 is to spacious for music , the 300 is more naturel. For movies is the 600 also a better choice. Combi 300 again. And you know it… gadgetfreak
