I remember the first time I got to God Rugal. He moped the floor with the team that got me there and the second team I picked. Then I went "Bah, whatever. Why pick someone I'm good with if he's kicking my ass anyway?" and put Dan in the front of my team. Then, a miracle happened... a miracle of Saikyo. Rugal not only fell in body before the might of the strongest style, but got crushed in spirit, unable to withstand the intensity of the man's taunts.

Wait..hold up, this is the third time I've seen this and I just noticed he called himself "Nick Kroger" as a reporter..like how everyone compares how he looks to Nick Cage and Chad Kroger? Wow..that was brilliant and I'm upset it took me this long to notice.

Recomendations for every AI character in the game on hardest dificulty, in case anyone wants to spend 8 months trying to beat the damn game like me lol: 1.- Never try to jump over Sagat 2.- Sweep Nakoruru on his ground dash, it's unsafe. And after that, jump at her and punish her wake up. 3.- Anti-Air Sakura ALL THE FUCKING TIME 4.- Jump MK on Geese. 50/50 on a counter hit or a counter grab, this last one will be followed up by short short sweep and you can wake up anything and not trade. Also, with full super, you will most likely hit him before he uses Raging Storm. He only uses his Deadly Rave every 1/100 matches aproximately. 5.- Blanka does double back dash and then goes into either straight ball or up-ball. When he's close, he will do electricity.He rarely grabs 6.- Kyo and Ryo will block fireballs and get stuck blocking from full screen. But Ryo will use Fireball super as soon as he gets full bar. Also, don't empty jump Ryo. His DP is the best in the game. 7.- Kyosuke will always try to punish you with either Cross-Cutter Super (30% chance) or his aerial super (70% chance) This last one mostly never hits even if you're not blocking, because of the start-up and since it's not a reversal. 8.- Benimaru will get close and either get a Super Grab or do standing short twice and then sweep. Far enough and he will jump and drill. Anti-air him with anything. 9.- Ken will do jab DP and then Strong DP even when not close to you. 10.- Ryu will most likely Fierce DP you when close or in his wake up. 11.- Vega is a bitch. 12.- Balrog will block every fireball like Kyo and Ryo. He will do straight dash and then sweep. Highly punishable on both cases. 13.- Bison will NEVER do Psycho Crusher Super. Will do either double jab into Devil's Reverse or into Scissor Kick super. Also, he can be exploited with Jumping HK and he can be DP'ed on his wake up up to 2 times before he blocks. 14.- Zangief and Raiden can only be attacked safely with jumping MK at max range. Closer than that if they blocked it, they will command grab you. Zangief jumps over Fireballs while Raiden blocks them but he can do special dash. 15.- Normal Akuma can be exploited with Jumping HK and he gets stunned after 4 straight hits. 16.- Terry will ALWAYS DO SOMETHING. Either will start the match with Power Wave, Crack shoot or Burning Knuckle. He can always be punished but his pressure is GATLIEK. 17.- Todoh can be exploited with jHK as well. But time it correctly or the Air barrage will trade. And when you get him in the corner, DP as fuck! 18.- Shin Akuma will pretty much punish your everything. However, you can wake up and it will hit 80% of the time without trading. If he has super, he will most likely DESTROY your super with his. Finest KO. He can do Wake-Up Demon when pressured too much. But the WORST thing he does it that he gets you in a jab short block string and in the block stun he will do Misogi, and it will ALWAYS kill you, even from chip 19.- Vice eats projectiles for breakfast, but be careful. She always does shit. 20.- Morrigan will always do projectile, but jumping her Soul Fist will result in her DP'ing you. You need to guess the projectile and punish her in her recovery. She will always do the off-screen super. 21.- God Rugal is the bitchiest, as Max says HE HAS BARELY ANY RECOVERY AND HIT STUN! He CAN however be exploited by Jumping HK, up to 2 or 3 times, BUT...the hit stun is so low that you must do it almost touching the ground. Or he will punish you with Genocide Cutter while you're still in the air. He will also try to do Dark Barrier on your wake up for pressure, but you can wake up anything to beat it. You can play the projectile game but IT WILL ACTUALLY CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE CHARACTER SELECT. From Ratio 1 Ryu he will always do Reppuken two times against your Hadokens and then he will get close to you either from Ashura Senku or the Groove Dash. HOWEVER, From a Ratio 4 Evil Ryu, he will do Kaisser Wave two time THEN get close. Tatsus in the air are useless, he will punish it with the air special move or Genocide Cutter if on the Ground. He is vulnerable to moves and supers with High Invincibility start up Frames. But he will either trade with Genocide Cutter Super or Ashura Senku. Also, he will try to beat your normals ON REACTION with Genocide Cutter Super. He will almost never do God's End Super. And his Raging Demon only does it when very close. Anything else I'll be adding for fun. I do keep playing it every day UNTIL I DEFEAT THE MOTHERFUCKING SURVIVAL MODE!

This is still my favorite Boss Rage ever. And will always be one of my favorite fighting game related vids of all time. On top of a classic game, with a tough secret boss unlock and fight. The editing itself was damn near perfect in this vid. And the ending bit with I Need A Hero set to the backdrop of Max's journey to beat God Rugal? Fucking brilliant.

This is still my favorite boss rage. Part of that is a bit of bias on my part because I love Street Fighter, I love King of Fighters, and I definitely love Capcom vs. SNK 2! But in addition to that I love the quick editing, the music, and even the news segment. Just everything about this video is awesome! I love it!

This vid is great. Good work Max. People complaining about it don't understand that Boss Rage is not about the gameplay, it's about the rage and the crying and the "wtf-ing". Max puts out unedited, relatively "calm" gameplay pretty much everyday. Boss Rage is the only loud and over the top show, and that's how I like it.
