I am interested (in you doing some videos) on how you can combine both the RC505 and TR8S capabilities/connectivity/useability, etc, to get the maximum potentials from both used together....or are there no significant benefits from connecting the two together. I tried to connect the RC505 internal drum pattern output to the TR8S ones, but got a mismatch in timing (not syncing well), so I abandoned that idea for now...hoping you would expand this horizon at some point

I want to ask, except of microphone and power supply wire, what are the 2 wires inserted at the back of the loopstation rc 505?

I'm pretty sure those are output cables (one for L one for R)

Hi, I am facing a delay in my mic output in the speakers. I am using SONY V4D1 Speakers to connect my Loopstation output. The rhythm is working Fine. But there is a slight delay in mic out. Any suggestions

Been looking all over for this: Can I write the effect settings into memory? Say I wanna perform 4 songs live and they all have a different fx setup. Can I save that and easily switch between them live?

the 505 has 99 memory slots when you write a song to a memory file you can choose what number its on and what you want to call it you can also cycle through the diffrent recorded songs when you have chosen a second song it wil automaticly play when the loop of the first one is done i hope this was helpful to you

Do you need to reset the system settings every time you power it up? My settings go back to default every time I go to use it again. Is there a way to save those settings you're describing?

Idk if with settings you are talking about effects and stuff. But if you are, you just have to select a preset or init memory and write it

Audrey Callahan I have a similar set with with my RC 505, Korg Kross and my laptop for the Daw. You have to make the DAW your master and the RC505 and keyboard the slaves. Only way it’ll be smooth. As for the mic, should just plug into Mic in on the RC505 but needs to be XLR phantom powered Mic, and then cycle through your keyboard if it has the option for “voice” or “mic/line”.

I'm thinking of buying an rc505 , do you have to hook it up to a computer at any point? And can I just use a microphone and headphones and be totally fine using it?

Yeah, basically you just need some headphones and a mic and then you're ready to go. You only need to hook it up with your PC if you want to record your loops with an audio software (for example Audacity)

I have an audix fireball mic and I cant get a good kickdrum sound from the mic at all. It makes me not want to play with the loopstation. My phone picks up my kick drum better than the mic. Can you please help and tell me what I should tweek to make it work? I am running the sound out of a guitar amp.

Joe Kidd well the if you can change over to a bass amp it will give you the sound you're looking for? Or go on INPUT FX and EQ the mic or even guitar to bass.

Why are you using an amp (if you are using the rc505)? suggestion is Input fx / Dynamics / Live Comp

just bought this today. 4 hrs later and still figuring out how to set it up. Your video does not show how to set it up!!??? im a musician not a computer geek, this shite does my head in. Can anyone help, i have google everything under the sun and Yes read the devil-damned long ass manual. we have an imac, scarlett focusrite interface, krk rokits and QX49 midi controller, all working properly........this $999.00 machine (im from the land of the long white cloud - Aotearoa) is doing my head in..........anyone out there.....please help!!!
