For what it's worth he is the real deal I'm not a type to push religion because Jesus christ is above all of it ..its what you feel in your heart when you ask him in ..I promise you with patience in him ? My husband and I were driving in a terrible rain storm around 7pm on March 9th, 2007. The Loop in Chicago were playing several Boston songs in a row. As much as I loved it I knew something was wrong. It was announced Brad Delp died. We were on our way to Ohio to pick up a puppy, I never forgot it. The highest and lowest point of my life. My puppy turned out to be the best dog I will ever have.

Just can't describe that feeling back in the 1980s as we were driving down the road with our windows down, listening to FM radio and that ICONIC riff comes on for the first 7 seconds. Take advantage of today's technology and go back to the start of this song, and listen (REALLY LISTEN) to those first 7 seconds, and imagine a time when NO-ONE had that fuzzy "perfect" Boston tone. Back then, you couldn't just click and play those 7 seconds over and over again. We had a CASSETTE TAPE, and you could "sort of" rewind it a bit, to play that NASTY riff again and again. THE GOOD OLD DAYS.

How great are the messages in Boston songs? 1988, I had my neck broken after getting rear ended by a Boston police car. Accidentally. 1989, back and neck surgery. I chose to recover without pain meds as I realized many friends had developed addiction issues. These songs are the reason I'm walking right now and never gave up or looked back to pity myself. There's an energy and vibe in this music that is unique and I'm sure has empowered many to overcome misfortune and achieve. Thank you Boston for helping me through all the physical therapy and enduring the pain.

We thrashed our way thru the 80`s and as Thin Lizzy said "And if the boys wanted a fight , you better let `em." Muscle cars made in the U.S.A. like Chevelle, GTO, Camaro and trucks and Harley`s as well. Every generation thinks theirs is the best, but look at the concerts and keg parties with live music we had. Their 1st Lp is the best premier album in human history! Not even close! How do you follow that? With strong songs like this! What great comments this has inspired, but such a troubled band. Genius always has a heavy toll on the mind.😢 should have been so much more for all to enjoy. If you don’t know it. Check out Barry Goudreau’s solo stuff.

I had a dream as a young man, and boy did I air guitar the shit out of these guys. I’m happy to report that in my late 50s and just now 60, I learned how to play a few of these previously impossible for me songs. I get to live these all over again with the rest of you. Boston was a mind blower back in the mid-70s. No one had such a big, tight sound.
