The Boston Fire Department struck six plus alarms on June 28, 2017, for a fire in the Treadmark building, a mixed-use development under construction and scheduled for occupancy in just over two weeks. The box was first struck around 2:30pm and the fire went well into the evening/night | 6/2017

Thanks! It was, what's even worse was the fire sprinkler system was down and the alarm system wasn't scheduled to be tested/approved until the following day.

These firetraps have burned all over the country,mostly still under construction. On another note, I noticed that some members were still wearing 3/4 boots!

Yes, these wood buildings aren't the safest until they get sprinklers hooked up. What's sad is that the system was about to go live shortly after this happened.
