That video of Karpov showing up and absolutely murking that little kid in chess is so fucking hilarious to me. I will never stop finding it hilarious. Just the fact that they literally brought Karpov onto this TV program to rip this little boy's soul out of his body just because the kid thought he was good at chess is so artfully, comically brutal. Like they wanted to make an example of him.

I love andrea . I dont know what to say but she's always hyped and energetic person i ever seen in chess because i thought chess players are nerds and serious person . @3:23 In my opinion this illegal move was intentional. I have seen the hole clip earlier and white had only two or three seconds on the clock left but he had to make an important decision. Which way to go with the king in order to make a draw? So he made the illegal move and in the time the ref was called and needed to adjust the clock (more time for Hikaru) he could calculate. Once the way of the king is clear the position is not hard anymore.
