He did alot of albums before he started doing Elvis songs. His career exploded after he started doing his songs. He does sold out concerts all over Europe. He's definitely making a living. He resisted taking that path for yrs but it's working well.

He is original. He learned the E music because his mass of fans asked him too. He has a HUGE career in the Netherlands. He is not an impersonator that you call a dme a dozen, those are the wet rags out there trying to be other people. bouke fills the ziggo in Amsterdam, 88k capacity. none of those rags you speak of would even be allowed in the door. Go learn somethng about Bouke. It's everywhere on the web. His cds are alwasy sold OUT.

He has chosen to stay in the Netherlands to raise his boys. Total respect for him for that but hopefully as they get older he will come here but for now I think this is as close as we get unless we want to travel.

He has a career totally seperate from his E songs. He was asked to learn the E songs by his fans. He s a big star/no E songs needed. No wigs, makup, costumes. Not his style. He is in control of all of it and will never waiver.

Bouke has the chance to have a voice close to Elvis voice but isn't an impersonator of Elvis, if i'm right the first song he sings for audience it was "sex bomb" of Tom Jones and he learn Elvis song because audience asked to him. Bouke has his own song in dutch and english .

@@madouea.6226 I love Bouke's own music just as much. For Always, I Cry and especially his Christmas song; Spending my Christmas with a Radio Song. So so good! Too many good ones. His version of I Who Have Nothing rivals Tom Jones version. Incredible
