Just saw the movie nd it’s touching. We all know someone like Chuco 💔. Nd many of these characteristics seen from the boys in the hood are still are present in the people of today making it timeless

Wow I remember this when it came out, I was 11 years old when I went to go see it with my older cousin and we go see it at the old theater in Boyle Heights LA (which is not there anymore) and I fell in love with the movie, I remember showing my white GF who I meant in college, and she fell in love with too and so as my daughter and son and I’m 52 years old lol

Watched this movie recently with my 16 yr old daughter. She said Chuko walks like a girl. Later I heard Danny De La Paz is a little light on the loafers in real life. Great movie nonetheless 😁

When I was young😂... We had a street like this in Bakersfield it was called "La Chester". But a lot changed now, we just call it Chester.... WATCHAAAA! I was too young to enjoy it, I just got the ending of it before they started to move it all around Bakers. From Chester, to Niles, then down Mount Vernon to the Adult School were they got their hop & pancakes on! The homeboy has the only silver Trans Am with t-tops sitting on rims with two 12s in the back & the other homeboys hopping the Buicks as we Caravan to pick up the ladies but no more than 2 in the front because one of those ladies would sit on the dawn switches. So anytime if you see a lowrider pull over and there's ladies getting out of the car it's either because they were going to fight or....ummhmm

@@XxDOPEKILLERXx So i found out that the trailer track is performed by George Benson( jazz guitarist) music composed by Lalo,if you listen to the Boulevard Nights soundtrack "Dimelo" is more disco sounding with more keyboard sound. Thanks bro for your info also!!

@@LovioEmmanuel Hey i found out that the track playing is performed by jazz guitarist George Benson,but the movie soundtrack of this song is different with more disco with keyboards. I have tried for years to find this version,itunes,amazon,George Benson albums,but i cannot find it. If anyone outhere finds it let me know so i can download it!! Hope this helps.

having seen this movie when it premiered in the cinema and owning the video and DVD. I can tell you that raymond was a real asshole to "chuko" he should have let him sink or swim instead of bullying him and trying to intimidate him.. in the long run chuko wind up saving his life
