It makes a perfect pack for carrying all my fishing gear, accessories and rain gear. The cases for the 4 piece fly rods fit perfectly in this pack allowing you to have hands free for safer travels into and out of the steep river valleys.

Great honest review Charlie.. be nice to have one like that to carry a fishing rod. I love the idea of the plastic sled in the back of the truck.. I will be putting one in my SUV, the boots and Chestwaiters that make a mess.

yes Ed, makes life much easier for getting gear in and out and keeping it together. No more crawling into the back of the truck to collect goods that fell out of the shopping bags.

Outstanding View on it New View.... A little play on words there. This backpack has now become my fishing backpack as it holds the rods in the pack perfectly allowing for hands free travel into and out of the steep river valleys. While carrying my fishing vest, knives, flashlights, camera gear and tripod, water, and sandwiches, rain jacket.... All while the rods and perfectly protected in the confines of the pack.

Hi Charlie I have to say after taking with New View hunting myself they definitely want an honest review and honest feedback. That looks like a great pack I was thinking It would be a great pack for hiking with a fishing rod as oppose to a bow so dual purpose, the whistle on the chest strap is an awesome idea . I'm seeing some reviews on that trail cam too and seems to be great unit as well , I was doing that with the sled too but I have hitch carrier there now taking up my space. Garry it works outstanding as a rod carrier, you can strap two inside the pack and one where the bow quiver goes if need be.

Great review Charlie, thoes trout you were catching were sea trout ? I’m not into bow hunting myself but anyone that is this is a great bow pack . Thanks for sharing and all the best .

Thanks Scott, and yes it's nice to catch a few trout right off the local beaches in the evenings. Tides were poor last evening but the trout will still swimming the coastlines.
