John full credit for you on see this coming. I thought Colorado will not touch they d-group in this year or trade Girard if someone and I didnt see Mittlestadt as part of trade. But i do like trade now when i see it.

Okay... am I missing something here?? Does that not seem absolutely ludicrous that the Avs traded a 22 year old promising young d man for a guy who as of a couple years ago was seen as a total flop? I know Mittelstadt had a good year last year and has been good this year too.... but D men usually take a little longer to develop anyway and Byram is 3 years younger. I dont know I just feel like the Avs are kinda crazy. I guess we'll see how this will age I hope the best for the Avs but I feel like Buffalo made out like gangbusters on this one.

Kevyn Adams is easily the worst GM in hockey. He decides to get younger and goes for ANOTHER LEFT HANDED DEFENSEMAN! 3 concussions since his draft day. What an absolute joke.
