Follow along as we Kayak into the Northern Saskatchewan Forest in search of Moose. We had a couple days to hunt between whitetail and mule deer, so we headed north for moose. The fishing wasn't bad either.

I've watched you guys since Beau was a little kid at Wild Boar adventures.. Just leaving the mad West Coast "left coast" here for Saskatoon or Prince ALbert this coming Spring.. I want to be around more like minded people, bow hunt and enjoy the cheaper home prices and live like a King compared to hear on the "Left Coast" where I'd never own and only rent..

Greetings from Spain. I love to see how you enjoy your kid in your videos. If you could give some advice, do you think a 50 lb recurve is good for boars?. Thanks, keep enjoying the nature.
@gunshyarchery4 жыл бұрын
I have shot plenty of boars with 50 lbs. Arrow flight is the key to good penetration. 50 pound bow, sharp broadhead and a straight shooting arrow, should zip through most hogs.

Geez 🙄 dude. I thought there would be a moose on the meat 🍖 pole at the end. Although that was a fantastic camp & great way to hunt & I’d give my left leg to go on a hunt like that kill or not. I can’t help but feel a little bit roped off. A name change would be nice. But even after all that bitching I’m still glad I seen your video. 👍🏻

Your moose calling needs work, Your calling to often, and the sound is slightly to low for a cow call if you think that's what your imitating. Cow call needs more undulating sound with a cough at the end, Your attempt at a bull needs practice, so you don't get that funny little sound at the start, also a bull sound more like a stuffed pig. And you should not call that often, A good moose caller can call a moose in almost any time of the year and to within a few feet.
@gunshyarchery4 жыл бұрын
CMAenergy Thanks for the advice. Moose come to a chainsaw running in the bush. Or even a generator running. And this one even came to my bad calling that needs work. Any idiot can call moose. I just proved that. Your turn. Call a moose within feet of you, and shoot it with a long bow. And film it. Then send me a link cause I’d love to see it, as I’m sure everyone else would. Thanks for watching.
@CMAenergy4 жыл бұрын
@@gunshyarchery How I wished I could, But at my age 77 and having given away everything I owned, Does not make me a candidate for this anymore, (I'd love to) but everything s Just memories now. And when a moose comes into the sounds as you mentioned, Their brains are void of anything else except to plugging a hole ! Practice all year round when you can and you will find that as you perfect your calling, They will come in almost any time of the year. That's when I gave up. That also goes for elk which are much more difficult to hunt in thick wooded countries of many mountains .
