I've been bowling for about 50 years and that was THE most impressive bowling related event I've ever seen. AMAZING.

That's as close to running a marathon as a bowler ever got. The cardio on this man is insane.

This guy does the impossible, 2,000,000 views in 2.5 years. Kim Kardashian releases a "heavily similar version" of SPANX and it gets 100,000,000 hits. Physically, mentally and just pure luck wise, this was beyond an incredible feat. The idea of jumping lanes is even more impressive since most bowlers are very keen on foot placement and arrow location. The ability to reset himself, with a new lane each time, makes this even more impressive. Kudos chap. Kudos.

I'm so sick of haters/trolls when watching entertaining real videos like this. It wasn't a competition. It wasn't for money. It wasn't rigged. I admit he clearly had advantages but he had a goal and accomplished it. It's way easier to sit in your underwear and critique someone else's accomplishments instead of completing a feat many say was "easy". The video doesn't state "Bowler Ben Ketola bowls impossible perfect game." I realize this will start a whole other chain of "hater" esponses but I had to say this. Instead of responding tho, go make your own video and try being happy for someone else who was simply having fun.

I am 40 and the highest game I bowled was 282. The fact you have 10 different balls, 10 different lanes, 10 slightly different oil patterns, literally every odd is against you. Well done sir 👏👏👏

Why didn't he bowl ball eleven and twelve on lanes 7 and 8? Could have shaved off a few seconds.

Back in the 70s as a kid, my friends and I were not the first to imagine trying something like this, nor were we the first to give up on the idea because we'd each need 3 balls drilled to our respective biases (allowing enough time for pin resets in three lanes each, we figured). Never occurred to any of us that you could impart that kind of hook bowling two-handed with lane balls. Bravo Ben.

Extremely impressive! The running between lanes reflects that of someone who has fell a couple of times running in bowling shoes.

My favorite part of this is how it was just Ben and his hype man at a local spot setting a world record.

As someone who once worked in a bowling alley this is soooo much harder than an actual 300. Each lane varies slightly so the fact that he knows each lane’s tendencies is very impressive

Extremely impressive, never seen anything like it. But I bet he can cut off a bunch of seconds if he runs a little bit faster between the lanes and sets up the balls more convenient, and also instead of running back to the first lane he could go for the first available.

This so much more impressive than what I thought it was going to be. Just a video sped up.

Regardless of how they set up the lanes it's still an amazing feat. And it's an old house which adds another variable.

I would love to see this again with a smooth dolly set up. That's for when he breaks the record again.

I would like to see the oil "pattern" used on these alleys. It's easy to "wall they up" to the pocket. THAT increases scores a ton. Got a local house that does that with the senior citizen leagues in the AM. Old timers love the higher scores. Bowl more-pay more, everyone is happier. Now, IF they did wall them up...he still has to throw the ball for 12 frames, to get 12 strikes, on 10 different alleys. No matter what us serious bowlers think, it's still a hell of an accomplishment. Good Bowling!

Cool, impressive, etc. I would really like to know more about the specifics: Bowling center, city, state; bowling ball(s): brand/model/weight, drilling layout, etc. If this was done with plastic house balls then I'm even more impressed. strike 1: -1 strike 2: +2 strike 3: +0 strike 4: +5 strike 5: +1 strike 6: -1 strike 7: -1 strike 8: -2 strike 9: +0 strike 10: +1 strike 11: +5 go to lane 8 to optimize transition to 11th strike instead of back to 1. lineups could be optimised too, ~10s total in all the lineups combined

i shot 300 in practice a while back on the same lane. the pattern will move a little every 4th ball thrown. all about keeping firm with each shot and good follow through with the same release . even had a few people think it was cool. like i said just practice.

Many years ago, Ben commented some extraordinarily disrespectful jabs at Walter Ray in several separate videos of him. He chalked up Walter's success to luck and lack of adequate competition, as well as a lackluster era for technology. Thinking he was trolling, I engaged with him in an effort to understand his views more, and it got so ridiculous that I concluded he must either have been trolling, or had a thought disorder. After weeks of exchanges, we actually arranged a best-of-7 match in some town between where we both lived at the time with $500 at stake. I went to the trouble to call the center we agreed was at an appropriate midpoint, asked if they'd be willing and able to oil a flat pattern for us one day, and essentially scheduled it, contingently. Ben gave me kudos for being so serious as to go to those lengths, and when it came time to confirm we'd actually bowl head to head, he suddenly went deathly silent. I have possibly never met a less mature and more arrogant bowler in 17 years of avid competition, and I assure you the last thing this guy needs is dozens of comments spewing worship and praise for, albeit a cool feat, an ultimately pointless one. Ben, if you ever read this, I hope life has afforded you the opportunity to mature considerably. Congratulations on this, though.

The video seems not to be edited, however a small trick could be done for this. If you connect all the pins with one string; that leads to a strike for sure. So, all the lanes are sat up before recording. Also when he finished the last lane he went to the first one ( paid time to set lane 1&2 ) That’s what I thought 💭

For a record bowler the running parts is key.

Assuming no shenanigans were involved (like CGI pins, narrow-bottom pins, mechanical assistance, etc), that was absolutely impressive! And that has to be some sort of world record; call the Guiness Book people!

One thing I don't understand: Once he hits the strike on lane 10, why does he go back to lane 1? He would be quicker on like l 8 and the pins are already set up there.
