CP 8000 is currently under restoration at the BC railway museum. It's the last surviving example of a Baldwin DRS-4-4-1000 anywhere in the world.

It sounds fantastic!!! Please tell us the name of the Rolling-Roadbed you have the loco on, as it looks like it works really well! Possibly nice enough to put the rolling bed in a display case to have a loco on and run it in the case? -Chris

A tutorial on the traction motor sounds would be appreciated

It's fairly simple. Adjust the volume of sound slot 1 (prime mover) and sound slot 25 (traction motor) until you find a balance that is satisfactory to you. I set my prime mover to 64 (50%) and traction motor to 128 (100%)
