life saver: WHEN DYING YOUR HAIR BLONDE, BUY A SHADE MUCH ASHIER THAN THE ONE YOU ACTUALLY WANT. YOU'LL END UP WITH ORANGE/YELLOW HAIR IF YOU DON'T!

My hair turned out exactly the color that you have and this is what I did to achieve the slightly darker golden blonde that I was wanting... I did NOT use the purple shampoo. I went and bought a box of medium brown hair dye. Part your hair down the middle and only do 1 side at a time so color will be even. Pour half of the brown color and half of the developer into a bowl and set aside. Now take your bottle that has half dye and half developer and fill with slightly warm water. Shake until it's mixed really well. Wait 5 minutes and shake again, then apply to the left side of your hair. Work in really fast and wait 5 minutes then rinse immediately. Take the remaining dye and developer that you set aside, put in bottle and add the water and do the same thing for the right side. This worked amazingly for me. I don't have to use a toner or a purple shampoo. It took the orange brassy tones out of my hair and gave me the golden blonde I was wanting. It may not work for you but it works really well for me...

I adore the blonde garnier nutrisse dyes, they even work well on dark brown nearly black hair if your touching up roots. I really like that golden blonde look

I cover my hair with coconut oil and then apply Nutrisse 9 Multi-Toned. It comes out gingery, but I then use purple shampoo and sit for about half an hour with purple conditioner - it works as a toner.

Another purple toning shampoo is the 'fanola no yellow' shampoo, my sister works in a salon and she swears by it to get rid of any brassiness! x

OMGGG I just used this dye today, the 10.1 and I have the exact same strawberry blonde hair. I had like, "antique gold" dirty blonde before and I think I have that same undertone of yellow. I will have to lighten a bit more and tone it. I wish I knew that before buying it, but oh well. You still looked good. I don't hate how my hair looks right now, either.

Love the hair!!! there is another Provoke purple shampoo that is a lot stronger than that one and will tone your hair quicker, it's in a slightly different bottle which is see through and the shampoo itself is a lot more purple x

Hi there! The end result doesn't look at all bad! It even looks natural and I must say your hair looks silky and smooth compared to before the dying process! Here is some useful advice that I thought might be useful if you are planning on your next blonding endeavour: 1. Apply the mix 1cm away from the scalp to the ends first because the root area will lighten in less time due to body heat from the scalp as compared to the lengths and ends which are furthest away from the scalp. Then apply to the root area when the lengths and ends have almost reached yellow(like ginger) so that when you have finished applying to the roots, the lengths and ends as well as the roots would have lightened to light yellow(like the inside of the banana peel). This method will ensure an even lightening result from roots to ends 🤗🤗🤗 2. If possible, choose a shade with ash tones so that you don't end up with unwanted brassiness or use a shade that is much lighter than the Holly Willoughby blonde you chose. From what I know, the nutrisse line has a range called "Ultra Blonde" and they have a shade called "100 Extra Light Blonde" that you might want to consider. Hope these have helped and stay safe!

Always trap your head heat in with a cap or cling film once its on...it helps it take, you can even add heat from the dryer, it may have taken you up a shade 😉 Looks great though 😊
