Hey great seeing a new channel with the box trucks. We are running off the load boards as we speak. Amazon relay saying we need to be in business for a year we only 2 months in. I’m in TN.

How many hours do you typically work a day/week?

You mention that you have to always be willing and ready to work. If we’re not necessarily trying to make $20k a month do we really always need to be ready to work? It’s a load board platform, so can we just pick the loads we like or prefer and only work fewer hours? Or is that frowned on by Amazon?

A word of caution for all future entrepreneurs I jumped into this whole deal being starstruck by the numbers but after loan payment and insurance and then fuel for the month im looking at only 2k profit a month rt now and thats not even paying myself. these numbers on this vid are with TWO drivers on peak season! Lean times for us in the box truck crowd rt now. keeping my fingers crossed and praying things get better out here in the MDW but it may be oversaturated due to the hype!

I'm at present trying to due the same thing you're doing, minus the capital for a truck.(lol) It was very informative because you are just starting out yet telling it all. People don't understand that it's totally different when someone tells you something that is fresh and new in their heads as opposed to as these more seasoned business owners trying to remember what they did a year or two or 3 ago. Still have a question that I haven't received and answer to yet. Can you do this with a Ryder rental truck with an LLC and no authority, MC or DOT # ? Can you use just their insurance and just go and get cargo insurance connected to your own business and start doing this? I know that what you will be paying per week on the rental will eat up a wholeeeeee lot of the profit, but I'm thinking, if done for a month or two, you could possibly build up the capital to finance or out right buy a truck. Is it possible and legal? Would brokers or even Amazon give you loads? Please let me know what you think? Thanks!!

Now as a business owner who is not going to be on the road but rather managing trucks, would it be difficult to have drivers with that mindset to hussle hard? It'd different when it's all on you to make the business work. But I feel it would be different with employees. What's your thoughts on that?

How did you get yours and did you pay for it outright, lease or finance? Have you used load boards such as DAT? If so, how did that work for you? When it is not peak season how consistent are the loads using the load board and how long did it take to actually start from applying? Thank you in advance. Making over $6,000 is awesome for a week, but how much after gas and set aside for taxes? Like a tractor trailer owner operator making $18,400 but after all expensive and set aside for taxes was just over $3,000 for 15 days of work. Wish you would go just a little further in detail.
