I've been an OTR driver the last 4 years, making about $1,800-2,200 per week. I thought that was good $$, but 3 weeks ago I found out about this gold mine, that is Amazon frieght with 26 foot box trucks. Instead of purchasing a combination tractor/trailer, I will get a 33 GVW 26'-28' box truck, & make my fortune! Thanks for the videos!

@FREE MY GRANDMA!! Correct. we now have 9 m/o twins and put all of that money into rehabing an old schoolhouse instead. My wife's a teacher. The school just opened though and is doing well. We couldn't use the truck the way that I wanted with kids.

The $66.000 question (s) is not how much $ you make but how to really get there, that's would be the educational value. How to acquire the account for beginners, also ppl should know that you likely had to open up a corporation, acquire DOT #, etc, things that ppl might not know. Someone who just got the B endorsement and is thinking about buying a box trucks need to know all that. Also, considering that box trucks come in many different sizes, dry and reefers. In your case, seems a 26' dry ( and the load carried seemed to have been able to be accomplished with smaller truck) ppl should be educated bout that, too. Anyways, those would the real helpful insights if you choose to educate others about your career of choice. Anyways, good topic.

Thumbnail is a Hino, is that what you are running? Looking at freightliner and international. What made you choose like you did? I'm asking for 2 reasons. First is i could do transport with one. And second is that I'm looking for a bigger platform to do my next motorhome conversion. I have a 14' Isuzu NQR I've outgrown. Wanting an extended cab with a 18 or 20' box with wood floor, 91" height and barn doors. I figure I'll have to go cab/chassis with proper WB and fit a box of my choice. But the hino, freightliner, international decision is where I'm not sure.

I drive for somebody else depending on route $100 a day you can make 2 route DE to NJ or PA and MD around 600 up in insurance depending on year of the truck I make 1200 to 930 something 800 depending on route I'm just driver and that's Monday- saturday 6 day a week.
