This video really clarified a lot for me. I have been working out for years but I am a beginner at actual boxing. The tip that jumped out at me the most was the one about logistics with the right hand and the left hook. I've been taught to keep my hooks in tight but I knew intuitively that that was not always correct. I have been working out with the heavy bag for years but only just recently started actual sparring and this video really I think will help ease the learning curve for me.

I've watched 100's of these training video's on youtube and this is easily the best I've seen. I very much like that you don't set things in stone and allow that different things can be done with a certain level of understanding. It teaches us that our own imagination is what makes us unpredictable or not, and encourages us to use it. Great Stuff!

6:10 I bought one of those BOB training dummies specifically because I was having this problem. It's good for helping get into the habit of aiming your punches and making sure you're in range to throw a hook. 10:05 I'm so glad I was blessed with tons of energy. I have a lot of stamina so I like to bounce and twitch my shoulders a lot. my thing with the shoulders is weird, it's like I turn on a switch and my shoulders twitch randomly on their own.

Wish there were some gyms in my area, watching these vids are great and all but I feel like I might sill be making a lot of mistakes without even noticing, where as to I had a gym nearby someone could point out my mistakes as I go.
