Also, can we destigmatize being the “single friend”? A lot of times we give our friends SOLID relationship advice because we see things for what it is instead the friend seeing things how they want it to be. We see the red flags and we try to warn you

I've come to accept that life has seasons and it's not my 'romance season' yet...it's my 'travelling the world and falling into a fulfilling type of love with my friends' season and whether it lasts three years or even twenty I'm perfectly content in that :)

Being single and seeing other people’s relationship, I noticed that there’s literally not one relationship that I was like wow, that looks healthy, I want that. I choose myself every time cause unless my partner can offer me the peace I give myself, I don’t want it. I’ve talked to so many older people around 50+yrs old where they say they wish they didn’t waste their twenties on trying to settle down and be in a relationship and that twenties is to be selfish with your time and energy and genuinely learn yourself. And me being 26 now, I’m so happy on taking their advice.🥰

I’ve always been in a place where I’ve had no male friendships always being surrounded by girls and that led up to me never getting any form of attention from males. I always thought there was something wrong with me but I've grown out of the notion and I love it. It truly feels great to have my girlfriends I give all my love to them.

ive had a pretty "traumatic" love life. ive never been in a relationship or had anyone really like me romantically before and i have only started making real friendships in the last 3 years. the last person i liked was an old friend of mine, the first boy i liked ever, and my "friends" told him my feelings without me knowing, only for him to say that he was friends with me because he felt bad. those friends who told him ended up cyberbullying me badly months later too, which the former crush also joined in on. since those events, ive sort of been traumatized and it has made my social anxiety worse. ive also felt sort of isolated in life, since a big majority of people around have a lot of love in their life at the moment, love from their partners, friends, and family. it feels like love is all around me and everyone but myself deserves to have it. i sometimes get sad think that i will never have that in my life, and that this is what my life is meant to be, but i try telling myself that my time will come, and that i just need to be patient and wait a little longer. ive also been trying to love myself, since most of the time i am the only person i got. im sure and hopeful ill find the right people one day

Bruh. I’ve literally never had this “oh I wish I could be loved and held, I wish I had someone to share this with” and it’s not like I’ve had men constantly in my life. I’m 20 and have never had a boyfriend…except that one time in Year 10 (and it doesn’t count, he’s a childhood friend to me😂). So it’s not like I’ve had men, I just have never felt the NEED to have men. Sometimes I wonder if that’s normal, but only for a split second then I’m like fuck it.
