Of course, any new piece of software has to have some sort of beta process to find bugs and get user feedback on new functions. Mastercam is no different. You may be aware of the Public Beta program which typically starts a few months before the new release. There is also a stage before this, and you may be able to take part!
The early Technical Beta program is open to users that are on maintenance, the same requirements as the Public Beta, but to get this early access, you need to let them know you would like to take part. That's it, that's all you have to do. No secret code. No top secret mission to complete. Just let your reseller know you would like to take part!
There is no need to make this beta software your daily driver. You can install it on your main computer, many are not aware that you can have multiple Mastercam installs on one machine, and just open the new version every so often to test out a new feature or compare an op in the old vs the new.
***word of warning. It is beta software and should be treated as such, aka maybe don't program that Friday afternoon rush job on it.
With that, expect lots more videos on Mastercam 2024 once the Public Beta does release, and even more when the production version is live.
