This particular Sierra was Brock's 1989 ATCC car and Andy Rouse's 1988 car. The car Brock and Rouse drove at Bathurst in 1989 was a completely new shell built by Dencar in Melbourne using full Rouse technology. The original Brad Jones ATCC car was written off in a test crash at Winton by Barry Sheene, which is why Jones was doing commentary for the final ATCC round at Oran Park instead of racing (where Brock won in this car).

Began with 7 Sport in 1985 we believe.

He was the pit commentator in the Great 1987 Bathurst race . He did a brilliant Job. Crompton in my opinion one of the best Racing Commentators in the business.

@@beagle7622 He also did a segment for the 1985 Bathurst 1000 talking about the technical aspects of Group A cars, focusing on the JPS 635.
