MERCEDES BENZ C250/SLK250 Direct Ignition Coils & Spark Plugs Replacement 2012-2015

Hello KZfaq,
Today, we are changing the Spark Plug and Direct Ignition Coils on a 2013 Mercedes-Benz C250. This is a common maintenance item that should be done at 60k miles. The coils don’t necessarily need to be replaced but we were having a misfire on one of the cylinders that followed when we moved the coil to a different cylinder.
Follow our step-by-step tutorial on how to change the Spark Plugs and Coils for a fraction of the cost of what the Dealer wants to service this item. The cost for the parts with a Lifetime Guarantee will be less than $250.

1/4” ratchet
6” extension
3/8” ratchet

they dont use it in the s class, they have it in the E-class in Australia!!

Thanks for the comments, not sure why I included the S Class in my list at the end, that was a mistake. Here in the states, these parts were only used on the C250 and SLK250 cars from 2012-2015. Cheers!
