Went into a hairdresser to get platinum blonde foils, I hadn’t dyed or cut my hair in like 6 years so it was long and a dark blonde to light brown color . He said “no I want to do an ombré with a slow fade down to a silver/grey blonde “. He showed me his Instagram page and the colors he had done on ppl’s hair and I was blown away. I was like boy go for your life do whatever you want . Lol so he did my cut and color and then blow dried it and then put these GORGEOUS curls in my hair using the straightener. Let me tell you I felt like I needed a blow fan in front of me and somebody needed to be taking pictures. Lol my confidence went through the roof . I mentioned the blow fans and said to him I feel like I’m on next top model lol he pointed up to this huge fan and turned it on full and both of us were there for a good 10 mins striking poses ! 😂 nobody else was in the salon as I was the last customer for the day . I will never go to another hairdresser again I have found the hairdresser for me . It wasn’t cheap but you get what you pay for and the confidence from walking into the salon compared to walking out was priceless . Love you Brad!

I actually really appreciate that he doesn't shame those who do their own hair at home. I do mine myself and hate that some professionals look down on us for it. I know I could never do what professionals do, and most people won't be able to, but professionals shouldn't make those that do their own hair feel bad for it. I don't have the money to keep coming back to get bright colours professionally done, and this way I can play around to really get the colour I want, and honestly it's fun. So thank you Brad 🙏

I've accidentally done an ombrè on my hair the last two times I dyed it. It's lavender and amethyst purple. It was absolutely an accident, but everyone loves it.

One of the things I love about these vids is sometimes the people come from no personal experience, but then they surprise you with their techniques. I used to be (and will be going back to being) a box dyer and watched my colorist when she was doing my hair before she moved out of state. It really helped to make sure my box dye wasn't too spotty and blotchy, especially around the back where I can't see very well.

I went to a cosmetologist who did my "balayage" and it was horrible. I had virgin hair and she thought it'd be a good idea to put 40 developer and leave in my hair way too long also she had no idea how to hair paint so she used foils and literally put stairs in my hair. I remember trying not to cry. I asked her to tone it so she put brown toner on top to try and mask the stairs and then a little purple toner on my ends which helped with the brassiness. She tried to act like oh it looks so good and she wouldn't let me see until she curled it because she knew it was unblended. Safe to say now my hair is a lot healthier, and the stairs have grown out. I can't wait to cut off all this shitty bleached area only a few more inches until it hits my shoulders. Long story short always look at a stylists profolio or they'll do you dirty.

I try to tell my clients, color correction isn’t cheap but they still try to diy the shit and get pissed when it comes time to pay..... nobody listens.

Soo this is how I got my ombre: I wanted some blue hair for my bday and we got some cheap stuff. We did everything but it turned GREEN so I had green hair all summer. I had to get a natural hair color(blonde brown black red orange)before school started.sooo we had to get blonde cuz it was the easiest. So I had blonde hair. My hair suddenly grew really fast and my natural brown hair making it a ombre 😂😂😂
