What Brad says about sharing hands is very true. I am an MTT player who has the RYE masterclass and I have consumed countless material about MTTs and I feel that I didn't start improving immensely till I joined an MTT study group and shared tons of hands. The same is applicable for any game of poker, you need to review your own hands as well as study material to improve, but going over hands with others is so overlooked and the results are so much better once the hand sharing becomes consistent.

This one brings back so many memories for me. You definitely have a lot of grit. After battling back and being up a decent amount Id usually take a break or bow out for the night. I usually only had 10x my buy in as a bankroll in those days. Very interesting to see your perspective.

Fantastic documentary of your night ... The action that night had a min-stakes feel to it with crazy swings but some real $$$ in the middle. Thanks for your honesty! Nice work to cash up. You are clearly honest with yourself regarding your emotions and your tiltedness, which is the problem the great majority of players deny in the moment. Well done and again, thanks

Love the humility. Everyone wants to show off how great they are with heavily edited videos depicting their mad skills. It was a breath of fresh air watching you take the beats and explaining your thought process. I'll only play low limit these days unless it's a freeze out, because literally everyone has a bigger stack than me, and more sitting in their pockets. You can't play tight and win money.

Brad, thank you for posting your videos. I feel like it has helped my game. I know you play for hours and show the hands that you win or find interesting. I find that I am getting into trouble when I raise preflop and miss the board, may potentially have to fold. Question. Would you post a video where you find yourself in those situations and walk us through your thoughts? I know, making these videos can be time consuming but I think your followers would enjoy something like that.

Just gotta say this, Brad. You've really come into your own on your KZfaq channel. For a while, I always considered your brand as an extension of the Neeme brand (and I mean that as a compliment), but I now find your breakdowns and humor to be completely unique, and wholly separate from Andrew. I feel like you offer a very different take to your experience as a pro, and I value every one of your vlogs. Especially when I have to rerun how you played a hand scratching my head. Keep up the great work! On a side note, I met you at Westgate last year. We never got into a hand together, but now I'll be looking for you to get it all in preflop with AK offsuit :-)

This means "I got away with it." Little kids do this all the time and if you pay attention you'll see it is pretty common in adults as well. Credit Joe Navarro for that tell.

The all-in hand with two aces on the board where you had A4 and you asked the guy if he had A6 and he said no fast...he was bluffing. 100% guarantee you that. After the hand the crazy scream is kind of a tell that he was happy/elated he pulled it off. But if you watch right after the scream, when his buddy slaps him on the back (5:56), he does what's called a "tongue jut." It's when a person pushes their tongue out through their mouth like a lizard and hold it for a brief second. It's a tell that means "I got away with it." Everyone does this, you'll see little kids do this especially. Credit to Joe Navarro on this tell.

Arrin Stoner couldn’t agree less he seemed way too riled up to be bluffing. Plus it was a terrible spot to barrel 3 on that board. He also would have 100% shown a bluff imo.
@arrinstoner
@arrinstoner 5 жыл бұрын
@@KanielOutis147 You're forgetting that his buddy was railing him which would have encouraged his outrageous behavior. Pulling off a big bluff for your whole stack against a KZfaqr is the only thing that makes sense of his erratic behavior after the hand. Being riled up isn't a tell in itself it's the context that matters. You hafe to add up all the factors. He wouldn't be riled up after if he had a big hand, he would probably be disappointed that he didn't get the call. And if he had a big hand wouldn't you slow play it to extract more? Or at least place a small bet on the river to get a little more? A jam there at the river is a "go away" bet. And during the hand he would be trying to show weakness in order to get a call. His laid back attitude and trying to appear overly relaxed and nonchalant during the hand only adds to my belief he had nothing. No he would not 100% show that bluff. Just because you would doesn't mean everyone else will. Showing your bluffs only gives out more information for your opponents. Him mucking his hand so fast and with force further backs my belief. And again, the tongue jut after the hand is a tell that you can take to the bank.

Great vlog, intense poker session. Really shows the “average” pro poker player ups & down. Keep it up & good luck.

Right I know. I was there for over 4 hours and my best 5 hands were AA - A10 off - K-10 hearts - 88 - 55 I folded A8 of Diamonds about half way through the session and was tilty after seeing A-2-7 then an 8 on turn and the most aggressive guy take it down on what would of tripled my stack. But in the last 1.5 hours I got A-10 off and tripled up after going all in, in a three way pot after a flop of 10-4-7 with the super aggressive guy and beat him and his 10-6 and another guys pocket 8s. That put me near $200. I was in the BB later in a straddled pot and it was raised to $60 in (1-2 Hold em) and I literally mumbled to myself just loud enough for the guy next to me (not in hand) to hear. "This is when I would love to wake up with Aces in the BB", well when it was my turn I looked at my cards to see the Ad Ac staring at me! I gotta say the poker gods rewarded my patience and my pocket Aces beat a guys Pocket QQ to put me over $400. I walked away near an hour later up $362 from my $100 buy in! Booked my first win more than quadrupling my stack. Not bad for my first trip to play live poker at a card house or casino for that matter..

The only mistake I think you made was calling a 5bet shove with AK. At the casino I play ( there is only one where I am from), if a player four bets he has AA or KK.

One more thing, did you ever try 3 or 4 bet bluffing on those tables? You need to take advantage of that. If everyone always does the same thing with certain hands you should be robbing them blind.

Hi Brad, I’m sending this to both you and Andrew Neeme: It’s great fun and interesting watching you guys play different stakes, hands, venues: as an amateur, mostly playing small tourneys and the occasional 1/1, 1/2, or 2/5 game, I wonder why you guys (and many others) grind for hours, (or all day or night), and then put your stacks on the line with A-K pre-flop: many times after being 3 or 4-bet, because “you want to get the money in”. Sorry, but I just don’t get it. Pre-flop odds with AK are 6, 30 and 43% against AA, KK and QQ, and a virtual coin-flip against pairs. Personally, I don’t like putting my tournament on the line, or stack I’ve worked for so many hours to build, in what amounts to throw of the dice (no board info). AA, of course, KK, probably (esp if I feel weakness), but AK (even suited)? Almost never: if I’ve been 3 or 4-bet, esp from a tighter player (and they know me- they certainly know you), there’s a good chance they’ve got the goods, and I’m not chucking in my whole stack in on a losing percentage pre-flop. Maybe I’m more conservative than most (and of course will be 4 or 5-bet bluffed from time-to-time), but I typically also walk away with more wins than most being more patient and thoughtful about the hands I play. Just an observation you might want to consider; statistics are pretty hard to beat :). Love to play with you guys some day- would be great fun! Best, Bill Bober

Nice video again! I enjoy watching these as you are a lot like me playing minus the aggression. I need more so it is nice to see hands where I would have checked to "trap" but often, end up trapping myself. Anyway appreciate the content and good luck! Btw, what percentage of hands do you think you are playing per session, on average? Obviously you are only showing the quality hands which must be a tell for those that see you start picking up your cell camera! : )
