It’s a shame the audio is lacking, but the talent there has never lacked. Discovered Vic in the Navy…through some rough times at seas, this man sent unbelievable waves into my life and I chose to ride them. One of the best men you will ever meet too BTW. 🙏🏻 Thanks Victor ✌🏼

The Teacher is one of the top ten guitarists in the world - too bad few know that.
@doctorstrainlove63183 жыл бұрын
I think regi should turn up more! He's so underestimated as a guitarist & he approaches the guitar is such a unique way.. he rarely uses a pick & he was one of the first guitarists ive seen utilize the guitar in such a rhythmic way, like a bass. (The teacher) but even great musicians of today like Tosin Abasi of Animals as leaders sought lessons from him on how to thump on a guitar & you can hear the influence in pretty much any AAL song. I'm hoping to see all 5 Wootens if this virus doesn't fuck up their next tour..

Same here. I'd rather put my effort toward making my own playing more musically relevant and maintaining the groove instead of being a poor imitation of someone else

Victor live often names himself after his influences. Usually its Marcus or Stanley. Never heard him call himself Jaco, that might be blasphemy.

Reginald was my sons teacher on bass he did not learn who Regi Wooton was as, until while setting in with some guy's in Seattle, they ask how did he learn to play so well, him being a software engineer tech geek so he told them my dad ask a guy he met Regi Wooton to teach me bass.They dropped down to their knee's chanting,increadable you know him. Son Jonathan had no clue that Regi Wooton was a musical ICON thru the years I word's can't begin express to how grateful I am for him helping my son to become a great musician, he gave taught him that humility and grace are just as if not more is important. Thank you Regie I was just a guy who hanging out with the late drummer friend Kenny Bledsoe at the Exit Inn that nite.May God continue to bless youRobert Kyle
