I have an adult son who is a narcissist. I went no contact over two years ago. I had to, I got ill and I do not want to die. I am glad that you are feeling better.

Totally unbelievable but totally TRUE! Once you get this- you'll see it in many other places with people you know- who still don't know and YOU'LL be glad YOU KNOW- get through the grief process (accepting the truth) and it does get better- not with them but with US and start to know.... "WE MATTER"! Then leave the rest up to GOD- because we can't fix them!

Another wonderfully inciteful video. When I was a child my Narcissistic mother would say, "I shouldn't have to ask you, you should know what you need to do." I adopted this philosophy and was never comfortable asking for what I wanted and hoping the other person could figure it out."

I'm really looking forward to more videos about dealing with Narcissistic adult children. There is so much victim shaming of mothers of Narcissistic children. I believe there is a genetic personality component as well as the dynamics between a people pleasing codependent mother and a genetically predisposed Narcissistic child.

Good morning, Roberta. I didn't bother to acknowledge you this morning. I'm glad your here to help me understand I'll remember what was mentioned. "What he wants most is to make one wrong",this will help me realize why he has and still says the things he does, right? I've been in this relationship for 40 odd years or more, I met him way back then when he was 12, and I felt sorry for him because he lost his mother and father my motherly friendship started back, then "maybe I was targeted back then? However I appreciate all the things you have mentioned to help me. Thank you so much for all you've done,God bless you more❤
