I saw this movie in theaters in a tiny town when this first came out. Literally every room was screening this movie only, the lines were wrapped around the building…it was insane. When we got in the actual room to our seats, it was so packed people were sitting in the aisles. There was the local fucking radio show there with a TSHIRT GUN shooting shirts into the crowd. At the vision/battle scene where everyone “died”, people threw popcorn buckets and shit at the screen. Truly the best theater experience I’ve ever had.

Fun fact: There were 4 different directors across the 5 twilight movies and it SHOWS lmaooo. I think that's why the movies all feel so chaotically different (plus the fact that the story is just wild mormon culture coded)
@loveRCDtv

I looked it up and it's CRAZY!! When you look at each directors work before/after their respective Twilight movie, you can clearly see they don't change up their style from film to film... Which makes me wonder, were they each hired for the needs of each films direction or did the films morph to their own preferences?

I remember having my moment of "is Twilight really THAT bad" in 2012 and went onto the most suspicious websites to watch 1-4. After watching them all in one sitting I thought "I have to know when the next one is out" and found that there was a screening for Breaking Dawn part 2 the very next week. No one wanted to watch the last Twilight movie with me so in the end had to drag my dad along. In the movie theatre was aproximately 6 other people, one of which was a couple sat at the very back. I was enthralled by the movie. I recall asking my dad what he thought once it was finished and he said something among the lines of "well that last fight scene was cool at least" which I'm sure was the nicest way to say he'd never come watch a movie with me again lmao.

This triggered a memory DEEP inside me - Part 2 came out right around my birthday and one of my friends gifted me two tickets to the movie (so nice of her!!!). I was very excited, but then another friend asked me to go to the premiere with her and I said yes, deciding that I would just pretend that I hadn't seen it when I went with the first friend. I remember watching Alice's vision unfold and being like "oh shit, there's no way I can fake this reaction when watching it the second time..." and I ABSOLUTELY couldn't!!! Teenage me was truly a flop!

I think its not in the movie but in the book Jacob is not a werewolf. He's a wolf shifter and they have a whole discussion about that in the field to justify the Cullens contact with them. Also I just love the distinction between werewolf and wolf shifter. Truly one of the plot twist they missed out on

I love how every single commentator on KZfaq think that those two witness vampires who called Volturi "Italian scum" are Russians simply because they have a similar accent. They are from Romania because they wanted to play on the whole "Transylvanian vampire" stereotype thing.

It was really fun to watch Breaking Dawn Pt. 2 in theatres as a 13 year old who wasn’t allowed to watch Twilight and had only seen KZfaq clips of the other movies. My friend who went with me had read the books so when Carlisle’s head popped off, she and half the theatre gasped and she started frantically whispering, “That didn’t happen in the book!” We told my mom that we saw The Life of Pi but instead I got to listen to a room full of Twihards’ wails grow louder with each passing death
