It’s crazy how she was able to master making you feel yelled at while talking so quietly! You could really feel the hostility with each look. At the same time we caught glimpses of her as a human being with emotions. Over all, Chilling, incredible, perfection.

She has several of those looks, so subtle and quick, another being the "why would I cancel" when she's crying about the divorce. She knows exactly why, she just knows she can't afford too and it stings. To portray that in such a subtle and quick way speaks volumes to the casting, directing, and writing.

So to give it to Andy in that final meeting, after she’d walked away from runway, it’s like Miranda was acknowledging that Andy leaving was the right decision. In the end Andy made the ‘Miranda call’ and didn’t allow herself to be backed into a corner. She was her own woman. Emily was so rude to Andy from the beginning, but by the time Emily gets sick and Andy is asked to come with to the event, they are becoming friends....which makes it so much more painful when Andy has to screw over Emily. AND THEN we get such a wholesome redemption for Andy at the ending with the clothes and seeing Emily's reaction.

Back again to say Meryl's performance was well and truly iconic in every sense of the word. Such line deliveries as "I think we need a jacket here" I think about WEEKLY for the past decade like, what's that about??? It's about Meryl being an absolute powerhouse of acting.

I just wanna say that yeah Andy could have handled certain things better but if I was her and working my ass off for the career I went to school for and spent thousands of dollars on, I too would go to Paris.
