Congradulation on your new truck TJ. By the way,if you want to keep your headlight's cover clear and shiny, use car wax on them, this way the covers will be protected from fading away.

When I was parked at a T/Stop in NJ back when I had a 32" waist in the 1990's, I caught a trucker two lanes over staring at me when my ass was near the window while cleaning the seat and windshield of my cabover company truck. When I sat down, I looked around to see how deep the snow was on other trucks. He immediately covered his face and turned his head like he wasn't watching me. I took off to another T/Stop.

Whats the horses of that beast. The old 70 series were a pretty good donk. Pull 45000kg on a good incline all the way from sea level up to 4500 ft. But were not as good as the cummins on the jakes.

Hi TJ: A good thing to NOT do with a new Engine is let it do long IDLES!! If a long Idle is anticipated, shut the Engine down. Piston Rings need to be loaded to break in properly. This Procedure should be followed for the first 50,000 to 60,000 miles. What sort of Mileage are you doing now?

trucker josh you should take hwy 29 to43 in wisconsin then you can see the worlds largest american flag in sheboygan wisconsin my home acuity insurance flys a 140foot by 70foot flag on a 400 or 410 foot pull it is amazing it wouldnt b that far out your way or check it out on youtube then youbwill also see other flag poles they tried to build and they failed have a great day

i have noticed things seam to be getting slower to get to me, one day the mail mans jeep quit working so a replacement guy with a red pickup he tried to deliver my box to wrong people they told him i live at this trailer in the same park, the silver suppler told me some stuff from mint's or supplyer is delayed, i guess the mint has limited amount of coins or silver eagles numbers old coins are same way, I am going to stop getting stuff like that, camping and trailer tires are more needed to let me rest!

Does the new truck tell you what kind of fuel mileage you're getting or do you have to fuel up a couple times and calculate it yourself? That just made me think of something else... in places that don't use miles, do they call it fuel kilometerage or still fuel mileage or something else?

retired trucker with 25yrs on the road, vietnam war area with PTSD, so who im i to say anything. never leave your fueling station with a hose fueling keep your hands on hose here in north carolina if you spill you pay.

It's common to fuel both sides at once, or have two hoses in your tanks at least, even if one is not fueling up when the other is

You still like the auto? I think most guys would never admit it but they'll love the new autos once they try them. The older we get the less I like to shift, I'm not too proud to admit it.
