This is one of the best interviews I have ever seen and one which I will go back to again - I have such great admiration for Brendan O'Carroll and used to listen to the short episodes of Mrs Brown's Boys on the radio. Thank you Brendan for such an honest and inspiring interview I would regret it if I didn't let you know that you really are a true national treasure.

It's amazing that Tommy said that he wouldn't describe himself as a happy person. I don't believe Brendan is as happy as he claims either because I can hear that in his voice. I don't want to get into religion, but what makes me somewhat happy is my faith in Jesus. If I didn't have that I believe my life would be empty and nonsensical. And that becomes more important to me as I get older. And I'm 59 yoa now. Money and success is not something that brings you absolutely happiness. I believe that if you don't have Jesus in your life you have nothing. I believe our life and our future and everything it stands for revolves around Jesus and him alone. I can never understand anyone living for this life only and having no sense of the afterlife.
