Yes I wish all men could have a voice like this and that all men could be artistic like him. Our world wouldn't be our world, it would just be a happy and utterly beautiful planet, like the heavens and paradise. ♡

it's so nice to see his voice sounds exactly the same as in the late 80's. He and Lisa truly are some of the most gifted singers/musicians of all time.

Magnificent. Perry is, happily, a non massive popular artist. Therefore he´s a real and rare treasure for few lucky people who really love music. Thanx Brendan.

My mother died last year. The part where the piano starts to scale, "I remember when you held my hand." Makes me feel nostalgia of being a child and my mum looking after me.

You know what... This song always gives me a bitter sweet feeling...I don't know if I can communicate this, but it just marks a milestone and it's the end of an era for me...Surely a personal thing, but somehow a gate closer/opener, I feel that way... You know sometimes one feels awkward on some days. Just like one feels that specific day is the end of spring or any other season....a passage to another period of time. So whenever I hear this, I just can't help myself but feel that way. It's a very very deep song. Thanks Brandon, for being in our lives and keeping alive the DCD.

Outside The storm clouds gathering, Moved silently along the dusty boulevard. Where flowers turning crane their fragile necks So they can in turn Reach up and kiss the sky. They are driven by a strange desire Unseen by the human eye Someone is calling. I remember when you held my hand In the park we would play when the circus came to town. Look! Over here. Outside The circus gathering Moved silently along the rainswept boulevard. The procession moved on the shouting is over The fabulous freaks are leaving town. They are driven by a strange desire Unseen by the human eye. The carnival is over We sat and watched

A voice like this and Miss Gerrard are truly Angel's from heaven. I often wondered what voices sound like this Angel's. I had the wonderful fortune of witnessing this band and watching the blissful sounds. Thank you sharing your gifts. My love for Lisa has no boundary along with Brendan who is a gift that keeps giving. I feel like butter when I hear the wonders of the Dance.

Music is good when it arouses an emotion or a mood within you. it's not necessarily about being melodic, religious or overtly musical, but about carrying the listener somewhere where he was not before. In this case, I feel like sitting on a park bench by a warm evening. the wind gently caresses my face, and everything is silent except for the nature around me. It is interesting that I mention that it evokes the silence when I speak of this kind of music!

I've loved this song ever since I 1st heard it over 25 years ago. At once beautiful, poetic and cinematic the lyrics are both moving and haunting bringing to mind a period of Americana lost forever. "Outside the circus gathering moves silently along the rain swept blvd....The procession moves on the shouting is over, the Fabulous Freaks are leaving town....They're driven by a strange desire, unseen by the human eye...Someone's calling". With an original arrangement that brings to my mind Maestro Ennio Morricone, I have never once heard this incredible song broadcast anywhere, how sad but not for Mr. Perry for his reward is this Master work, rather for those who've never been touched by words and music that can at once take them to a different time, a different place to see and feel things they've never known and maybe in the process break their heart. When I heard the first piano played notes of this version it brought tears to my eyes. For me, there is simply no doubt that one day, Brendan Perry will be welcomed personally and with open arms into the Pantheon by the True Greats who came before and will come after him.
