They look very good mate.You’re certainly cracking on full speed with this project! You now need a dead cow as ammunition for the trebuchet a la Monty Python 🤣

Thanks mate. 😆 yes definitely. I have the warlord animals set somewhere. I could use one of those cows lol.

Mate great work. You are cracking through them! Mate I agree with the flags. Do it get one of your flags on instead will make all the difference I reckon 👌
@leont66wargaming314 ай бұрын
Thanks mate. I’ve got some spare flag’s knocking about from my Landsknechts. Next ones I do I’ll put them on instead to see 👍🏻

@@leont66wargaming31yeah defo do that I reckon you may go down that route. Iv always kept clear of the plastic banners GW do. They never look natural

These guys should 100% be on the field. Not for fighting and winning but for tar pitting your opponent so your knights can hit them. With the monk they’re pretty hardy.
@leont66wargaming314 ай бұрын
Thanks buddy. I’m thinking they’d work well as speed bumps to line up charges for my knights

As for the faces I'm not gonna put any detail on them. I went with skin ink was dwarf flesh and done. Plus I glued the shields on mostly because I was 50/ 50 at time of building 😵💫
@leont66wargaming314 ай бұрын
A lot of the faces are pretty well hidden behind them giant shields I just go with the old saying. Bases, faces and flags. I find it distracts the eye away from all the mistakes there are 😆

I'm also thinking a giant blob squad of forty with a sergeant at arms And maybe lining up to units of pegasus knights to get flank charges 👻
@leont66wargaming314 ай бұрын
Yes I’m tempted to do the same. It’s just they die so quickly that combat res with all them easy kills for your opponent could see both units fleeing..?? That’s one reason I’m tempted to use them as speed bump chaff. To redirect I’ll have to try out both in a few games. Plus there’s always line hammer 😆. 40 in one long row, with stubborn. Everyone gets a support attack 😂. But I’ll save that for the beardy annoying players lol

Looking good leon 👍 what's your method for wash or shade is still strong tone nulm oil and mat medium can you show each method and what's the best
@leont66wargaming314 ай бұрын
Thanks Kev. With these minis I’m using GW nuln oil with 1/3rd mat medium. Giving the whole mini a all over wash. If I get time with the next batches I’ll try to get some tutorials done. Just struggling for time these days

Great work. There is something wrong with your wargame of choice if miniatures you've lovingly painted never see the table because "they're not that great" in the rules.
@leont66wargaming312 ай бұрын
Thanks mate. I’ve found a use for them now. They’ve actually performed really well lol. Been quite some time since I played fantasy so had to get my head round the new rules

Are these Sigmar size now or Perry size?
@leont66wargaming314 ай бұрын
I don’t have any Sigmar minis, but I think they’re somewhere in between. The Perry Cav will be fine as an independent unit. They tend to be a bit slimmer.
