@@leont66wargaming31 well an update, i spray painted 15 sprues with Grey Seer, and then washed them with nuln oil. After that a quick drybrush with grey seer. Now the straps, bedrolls and other detail await. It was way faster than i expected before hand. My plan now is to not go in and paint some trousers, hats or shirts in a different color, just focus on the straps, belts, faces and hands. So that every strip of infantry uniform is "confederate grey". After that stage is done, i will start to add some alternate colors to the hats and trousers. Gettysburg and Gods and Generals was both directed by Ronald Maxwell, lets just say that Gettysburg was his best historical movie. =)

Hi mate. The AB range is too big to match well with the Epic range. I’ve found the best comparisons are Kallistra for the infantry and artillery and Peter Pig for the cavalry

They’re lovely sculpts. I’d of probably continued with them if it wasn’t for Epic coming out and be so much cheaper. I don’t tend to varnish my models very often. Sometimes I might do the metals but never plastics. Just handle with care lol.

To be honest my friend. I don’t use a whole lot of contrast paints. Personally I I’d use Lahmian Medium with regular paint. Not saying the contrast medium wouldn’t work, I just haven’t used it
