The Brette is only capable of fully lighting a very small space (10.2 sq ft). Its lights are intended to work as accent lighting, so the light output is limited to 510 lumens. As a general lighting rule, 50 lumens are recommended per sqft, meaning the Brette wouldn't work well as the main light source in most rooms. The light color is considered "Warm White". Yes, the set screw for the green ground wire will need to go back into the hole on the side of the downrod (3:27). The set screw in the black hanger ball will simply tighten against the side of the downrod without going through a hole (3:32).

The housing is made of metal (painted in espresso bronze) while the white panels that allow the light to shine through are acrylic. The LED strips can easily be replaced by removing the plastic dust covers on top of the motor housing. Replacement LED strips and LED drivers can be ordered by contacting customer service.

It is recommended that you clean with a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish. You can very lightly moisten the cloth to clean difficult spots, but avoid getting moisture near the electrical components and holes near the motor. As a precaution, be sure to turn the fan and light off.

There are two possible reasons for this issue. The most common is interference from other fans or devices. Trying a new dipswitch code on the receiver and the remote may resolve the issue. If that doesn't solve the problem, the receiver may need to be replaced. Contact customer service for further assistance: 1-877-902-5588.

Unfortunately, I do not have the dimensions for the studio this video was recorded in. However, rooms that are 10ft x 10ft or smaller are considered "small rooms" and are recommended for this fan.
