My wife came home with this exact ceiling fan and said, can you install this? I was like, sure. ( Didn’t have a clue how to put one in) I KZfaq it and your video came up. I told my wife that I would do it when she went to her moms to visit later in the day. Let’s just say my wife was happy that her husband installed the fan. P.S Thank you!

Great video! This helped me install two fans in about an hour. Way better than the written instructions!

My fan won't work but the light does. What did I do wrong???

The green ground wire which is screwed to the new fan ceiling mount & the green wire for the down rod are the only two green wires I have. There’s not a green wire exiting my ceiling. So if I’m getting this right then I just connect the two green wires which came with the fan, wire nut them and that’s it?

I'm a year late but how'd it go? There is a bronze/bare wire that should of been hooked to the greens/ground wires. sometimes they can be found smushed up towards the ceiling.
