After watching this guy answer Dales questions, I believe everything Mayfield and Spencer said about him. you can tell this guy is a weasle.

Whether you like Brian or not, it's undeniable he's a huge sleezeball.

Credit to Brian for doing the interview, no credit for actually being accountable and answering the questions truthfully.

Brian is a shining example of what happens when a rich kid who has never had to work for anything in his life is handed the keys to a huge business. Tanks NASCAR popularity, makes wild changes, gets busted for DUI, take absolutely zero responsibility and plays it all off as "part of life".

No matter what u think of Brian France, you have to give him credit for being true to his character……his character being of a completely sleezeball.

Can this guy give a single straight answer to anything? He sugarcoats everything he says even when he's no longer in power and really has nothing to lose. He could just be honest about his choices and decisions and possibly gain back a lot more respect

Looking at his eyes and hearing his answers, he still has addiction issues.

I was willing to cut him some slack until Junior asked him what he did to turn his life around and he didn’t even TRY to say something politically correct. No re-evaluating his life, no getting clean, no going to rehab, no apologies, NOTHING. That was a softball for a “talking point” and he didn’t even do that. I honestly kinda wonder if he was under the influence of something during the interview

Dale asked him some great questions and he just wouldn't take ownership or seem accountable.

Dale was trying to give him a way to repent in a meaningful way and without maybe exposing himself too much legally, but it seems he did not see it that way.

Mamma always said, if you can't say anything nice... Through this journey with Brian, I've been trying to find something nice to say. I'm glad he's happy not being the CEO anymore. That's it. That's all I've got.

He made it sound like it was a great thing. A stepping stone to improving an already great life. Very first step in recovery is to admit there is a problem. He's still not seeing it as a problem and actually is claiming it as a great benefit to himself.

As someone who has lost a loved one to a drunk driver .. I found the lack of contrition appalling .. "so it happened and life moves on" .. yeah Brian .. not for everyone. Kudos to Jr. .. for givin' Brian the OPPORTUNITY to express remorse .. anyway.

My perception is my own....he seems to have benefitted from Nascar but never seemed to love NASCAR. I think people can tell when you don't believe in the product you sell and I don't think he really believed in it apart from what it gave him and his family. He would have been just as happy if the product was widgets instead of racing.

From what I get from these interviews. He was always following other sports rather than trying to lead them. They are all dependent on TV money and can't exist without it

I’ve watched all the podcasts, read a lot of the comments, I thought people had been a bit rough on a guy that was just trying to do the right thing, I’m a traditionalist, but his argument for introducing the chase made a degree of sense. Here was his opportunity to do some good, we all struggle with stuff at times, we all wonder if there is an easy way to get through, he could’ve been a lot more open and honest, instead he chose to talk in circles. It doesn’t seem to me like getting caught has changed him at all.

It’s very disgraceful that NASCAR let Brian France stay in charge even when he was in substances when they they knew it or not. Very very sickening. The fact that NASCAR still hasn’t apologized for letting him stay as CEO while he was a drunk and druggie shows how NASCAR has been since the Brian France administration

His family still owns NASCAR and if worth $1B+.

I wonder who talked Brian into being here for this interview.... he certainly didn't want to be there. Although, he seems to have a distorted view of reality, so who knows what he thinks and the way he perceives how this went.

Dale you did a superb job with the wording of your questions providing him options that could have been good or bad for him and still get some type of admission from him. Instead the fool circumvents your questions and tries to impress everyone by bragging what a great life he has. Your interview successfully allowed Brian to show everyone the type of guy he really is. Well done.

While a appreciate that He came on the Podcast and spoke about certain things. I am Disappointed that He never said sorry. He could of killed someone that night and I bet it was not the first time He got behind the wheel of motor vehicle in that condition. Also with what happened to Brian took the Headlines and spotlight of Chase Elliott winning His First Cup Race. The Days following the race at Watkins Glen all you heard about was Brian France Getting busted, instead of hearing about the son of a Former Cup Champion winning his first race. So I think He should of answered Dales question with saying sorry to everyone involved. One last thing with all the people in Nascar there would of been at least someone (most probably a few) that Brian had a problem and they are just as bad for letting it happen.
