watching a video like this makes me fall in love with the drums again. It also inspires me to put my kit together in a way that is unique.

this part shows how difficult can be to build something original, symmetric but anyway functional- great job!

Setting a drumset is art, period.

I LOVE how this is kind of "stealth". I like how the rack toms are mounted. Is it possible to get the part listing for this?

Thanks for the idea with the side snares! So Bian doesn´t play any cymbals? or will there be a part 3?

I love how you never consider the poor drum tech carrying, setting up, and breaking down all of that equipment... and you haven't even added cymbals yet. Please do part 3. 😁

Timbales1979 with larger tours like this one, a lot of the time there is very little break down. Sometimes they roll the entire riser directly into the truck with the rig still set up. With all of the drums, cymbals, and electronics, using a rack like this is easier for a drum tech than using stands

and the cymbals??

You still could have used a smaller version of the icon rack top to go on all that gubralter

But what about the cymbals?

How do Pearl artists get to use Gibraltar racks instead of Pearl racks? Interesting.
@StJimmy7658 жыл бұрын
Sometimes they offer products that are better suited for the individual drummer. For example, I use Gibraltar hardware for my stands and throne, but when I'm playing metal I use Tama's Speed Cobra as my double pedal. I like to play Zildjian cymbals, but I honestly would never use their drum sticks.

+StJimmy765 I get that. Guess I'm just trying to understand the endorsement contracts. How they can use other companies' products. It's probably not the same as athletes and their shoe deals. Since they're getting paid to wear them they can't wear the competitors product. Do musicians get paid by the companies they endorse or is it just a mad discount on the products they get? That would make a big difference.

+Justin Wright There are many different kinds of endorsement deals. Sometimes you can get a certain number of free products per year, sometimes you can have access to products around the globe for tour support, sometimes you get discounts but not free equipment, and you can certainly choose to utilize one segment of a companies product line but not the entire product line. All the deals are different. You'll find out when you get yours! Keep hittin' 'em hard! Oh, I forgot to mention, Pearl's rack equipment looks terrible, while Gibraltar looks incredible. Who would choose to use anything other than Gibraltar?
@JWRIGHTMUSIC8 жыл бұрын
+WhyTheHorseface Thanks for the info and encouragement! And I agree, Gibraltar's rack equipment is much better.

Most drum endorsements are either drums and cymbals or drums hardware and cymbals a lot of drummers have say Yamaha shells but dw9000 pedal so you're not always chained to that brand till you die😋
